Abstract
Kacang hijau ialah jenis tanaman budidaya dan palawija yang dikenal luas di daerah tropika. Kacang hijau di Indonesia menempati urutan ketiga terpenting sebagai tanaman pangan legum, setelah kedelai dan kacang tanah. Pada tahun 2013 produksi menurun mencapai 204.670 ton dengan diikuti luas panen yang menurun yaitu 182.075 ha-1 (BPS, 2016). Upaya peningkatan produksi dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan varietas unggul, pemupukan yang tepat, dan waktu penyiangan yang tepat. Pemupukan dengan pupuk organik dan anorganik akan berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang hijau. Seiring dengan pertumbuhan tanaman utama, maka akan diikuti dengan pertumbuhan tanaman liar (gulma). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mempelajari penggunaan beberapa jenis pupuk dan waktu penyiangan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan November 2017 di Desa Dadaprejo, Kecamatan Junrejo, Kota Batu Alat-alat yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah Leaf Area Meter (LAM), cangkul, tugal, timbangan analitik, meteran, sprayer, kamera digital, amplop, kuadran (frame) 0,5 m x 0,5 m, sabit, dan oven. Bahan tanam yang digunakan ialah benih kacang hijau varietas Vima 2. Pupuk yang digunakan ialah pupuk organik dan anorganik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan perlakuan aplikasi pengaruh beberapa jenis pupuk waktu penyiangan. Perlakuan diulang sebanyak empat kali sehingga terdapat 32 kombinasi perlakuan. Parameter pertumbuhan yang dilakukan meliputi jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, luas daun, jumlah polong tanaman, jumlah polong isi, jumlah polong hampa, bobot segar tanaman, dan bobot kering tanaman. Pengamatan hasil yang dilakukan meliputi bobot 100 biji, bobot segar polong per petak, bobot segar polong per hektar, dan hasil panen. Perlakuan P0G3 (pupuk organik dengan waktu penyiangan 10, 20, dan 30 hari setelah tanam) dan P1G3 (pupuk dengan waktu penyiangan 10, 20, dan 30 hari setelah tanam) mampu menurunkan bobot kering total gulma dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman kacang hijau meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, luas daun, jumlah polong tanaman, jumlah polong isi, dan jumlah polong hampa serta meningkatkan bobot 100 biji, bobot segar polong per petak, bobot segar polong per hektar, dan hasil panen tanaman kacang hijau. Perlakuan pupuk organik dan anorganik dikombinasikan dengan waktu penyiangan meliputi tanpa penyiangan, 1 kali penyiangan (10 HST), 2 kali penyiangan (10 dan 20 HST) menunjukkan hasil lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan waktu penyiangan 3 kali penyiangan (10, 20, dan 30 HST). Perlakuan pupuk anorganik menunjukkan hasil parameter pengamatan pertumbuhan dan hasil panen tanaman kacang hijau lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan perlakuan pupuk organik.
English Abstract
Mung bean are a type of cultivation plants and palawija are widely known in the tropics area. Mung bean in Indonesia ranks third most important as legume crops, after soybeans and peanuts. In 2013, production decreased to 204,670 tons, followed by a declining harvest area of 182,075 ha-1 (BPS, 2016). Means to increase production can be done with the use of superior varieties, proper fertilization, and appropriate weeding time. Low mung bean production is caused by several factors such as lack of use of high yielding varieties and cultivation techniques that are not optimal as in the fertilization is less precise. Fertilization with organic and inorganic fertilizer will affect the growth of mung bean plants. Along with the main plant growth, it will be followed by the growth of wild plants (weeds). The purpose of this study is to study the use of several types of fertilizer and time of weeding on the growth and yield of mung bean plants (Vigna radiata L.). The research was conducted in August until November 2017 at Dadaprejo Village, Junrejo Sub-district, Batu City. The tools used in this research are Leaf Area Meter (LAM), hoe, tugal, analytical scale, meter, sprayer, digital camera, envelope, quadrant (frame) 0.5 m x 0.5 m, sickle, and oven. Planting materials used are the seeds of mung bean Vima 2 varieties. Fertilizers used are organic and inorganic. This study used Randomized Block Design by the application treatment of some types of fertilizers consisting of two levels and weeding time consisting of four levels. Treatment was repeated four times so that there were 32 treatment combinations. Growth parameters include leaf number, plant height, leaf area, number of plant pods, number of pods of contents, number of empty pods, fresh weight of plants, and dry weight of the plant. Observations of the results include weight of 100 seeds, fresh weight of pods per plot, fresh weight of pods per hectare, and yields. The P0G3 treatment (organic fertilizer combined with weeding time of 10, 20, and 30 days after planting) and P1G3 (inorganic fertilizer combined with weeding time of 10, 20, and 30 days after planting) were able to decrease total weed dry weight and increase plant growth mung bean include plant height, leaf number, fresh weight of plant, dry weight of plant, leaf area, number of plant pods, total pod content, and number of empty pods and increased weight of 100 seeds, fresh weight of pods per plot, fresh weight of pods per hectare, and green bean crop yields. The treatment of organic and inorganic fertilizers combined with weeding time included without weeding, 1 weeding (10 HST), 2 weeding (10 and 20 HST) showed lower yield compared to weeding time of 3 weeding (10, 20, and 30 HST). The treatment of inorganic fertilizer showed that the observation parameter of growth and yield of mung bean crops was higher when compared with the treatment of organic fertilizer.
