Abstract
Today’s companies are mostly aware of safety culture and are interested to invest in HSE management. A large sum of money is spent to develop and improve the HSE management, but in order to do so, the company needs to measure the safety characteristic level first, to determine the best way to improve the HSE management at the company. Based on that, the researcher try to measure what Safety Culture means for the company and how safety culture develops in a multinational pharmaceutical companies, then try to come to a solution for the challenges that company is confronted with. The research result will add more knowledge to academic community and industries which are dealing with area of workplace safety and help them to develop a safety workplace in the community and hope to achieve Goal for Zero accident at the company. The type of research used in this study is a descriptive study with qualitative approach. Data was collected through evaluation of the user, by means of a questionnaire and the Hearts and Minds "Understand Your Culture" Toolkit. This method was used to obtain information on the safety culture in the company and their level of safety culture. The review was conducted by a limited examination and supplemented by interviews and surveys of the present condition using the existing toolset. Hudson stand that the best organization leaves the regulatory drive behind for company that already on the calculative stage, but based on the data achieved, the researcher found that even though the company already stand on the calculative stage, however, there are still departments that stay below the calculative stage, which the company cannot applying the same method used on the departments that already on calculative stage or up.
