Abstract
Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan, mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan komunikasi organisasi secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Bank Jatim Malang sebanyak 74 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling jenuh atau sensus, yaitu penetapan jumlah sampel dari seluruh anggota populasi yaitu 74 orang. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. (2) Komunikasi organisasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan (3) Secara simultan (bersama-sama) gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. (4) Diketahui besarnya pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 56.6% sedangkan sisanya 43.4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Faktor lain tersebut, salah satu diantaranya adalah ability (kemampuan) yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. (5) Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh dominan terhadap kinerja karyawan dibandingkan komunikasi organisasi.
English Abstract
The influence of transformational leadership style and organizational communication on work performance of Jatim bank Malang employees Jatim bank Malang faced loss of work performance on their employees especially non-financial issues, for instance getting complaints from customers because lack of service that less in conformity with customer expectations. These condition shows that work performance of employees decreased and needed good leadership and suitable organizational communication so employees can work optimally. The purpose of this research are: Firstly, to determine and analyze the effect of transformational leadership style on employees work performance. Secondly, to find and analyze the impact of organizational communication on employees work performance. Thirdly, to determine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational communication simultaneously on employees work performance. The type of this research is survey with quantitive approach. The population in this research was all employees of Jatim bank Malang as many as 74 people. This research was using saturate or census sampling technique, that is establishment of the number samples from all members of the population is 74 people. This research used analyze tool which multiple linear regression analysis. This study concluded that: (1) transformational leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee work performance (2) organizational communication has a significant positive effect on employee work performance (3) simultaneously, transformational leadership style and organizational communication has significantly effect to employee work performance (4) this research resulted that the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational communication to employee performance by 56.6% while the remaining 43.4% is influenced by other factors. For instance, one of them is ability which can affect to employee work performance (5) in terms of affecting employee work performance, transformational leadership style experienced more dominant than organizational communication
