Abstract

Menurut kaum konstruksionis penulisan wacana atau teks selalu melibatkan pandangan, ideologi, dan nilai-nilai dari si pembuat teks. Sejalan dengan pandangan kaum konstruksionis, teks diangap bukan sebuah informasi semata. Ada skenario yang dibentuk dalam mengemas suatu konstruksi akan realitas. Bagaimana realitas tersebut disajikan tergantung pada bagaimana fakta itu dipahami dan dimaknai. Sehingga penulis atau si pembuat teks bukanlah aktor tunggal dalam proses pemaknaan suatu peristiwa yang akan dituangkan ke dalam bentuk media. Penelitian ini fokus untuk melihat bagaimana frame yang dibentuk sebuah media dalam melakukan pengkonstruksian terhadap seorang Presiden Soekarno dalam suatu peristiwa besar, yaitu Pemberontakan G30S/PKI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitiatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis framing sebagai metode analisis data.

English Abstract

According to the constructionist the writing of discourses or texts always involves the views, ideologies, and values of the author of the text. In line with the views of the constructionists, the text is considered not information alone. There are scenarios formed in packing a construction of reality. How the reality is presented depends on how the fact is understood and interpreted. So that the author or the maker of the text is not a single actor in the process of meaning of an event to be poured into the form of media. This study focuses to see how the frame formed a social media in doing the construction of a President Soekarno in a major event, namely the rebellion of G30S/PKI. This research is a qualitative research by using framing analysis technique as data analysis method.
