Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul “Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan” yang dilakukan pada karyawan tetap Service Center Panasonic Surabaya ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan secara parsial. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu explanatory research, alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada seluruh karyawan tetap Service Center Panasonic Surabaya yang berjumlah 48 orang responden. Analisis data yang dipakai adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisi regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS 18 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara parsial variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis (X2) memiliki pengaruh yang paling signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) dibandingkan variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan Otoriter (X1) dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Laissez-Faire (X3). Hasil uji parsial variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis (X2) mempunyai nilai koefisien 0,011 lebih kecil dari α sebesar 0,05 (0,011<0,05). Hasil uji parsial variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis (X2) mempunyai koefisien beta tertinggi sebesar 0,369. Hendaknya perusahaan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan lebih menitikberatkan pada gaya kepemimpinan demokratis. Karena dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, variabel gaya kepemimpinan demokratis mempunyai pengaruh yang paling kuat terhadap kinerja karyawan.

English Abstract

Research entitled “The Influence of Occupational Safety and Health on Employee Performance” conducted on permanent employees at Service Center Panasonic Surabaya aims to explain at influence of leadership style partially on employee performance. The research method used is explanatory research, collecting data using questionnaires distributed to all permanent employees of Panasonic Service Center Surabaya which amounted to 48 respondents. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression using SPSS 18 for windows. The results showed variable Democratic Leadership Style (X2) had the most significant effect on employee performance (Y) compared Authoritarian Leadership Style variable (X1) and Laissez-Faire Leadership Styles (X3). The partial test variables Democratic Leadership Style (X2) had a value 0.011 less than α of 0.05 (0.011 <0.05). The partial test variables Democratic Leadership Style (X2) had the highest beta coefficient of 0.369. The company should improve the performance of employees with focused on democratic leadership style. From the research that has been done, the variable of democratic leadership style had the most powerful influence on employee performance.
