Abstract
Electronic Government berhubungan dengan penyediaan informasi, layanan atau produk yang disiapkan secara elektronik oleh pemerintah, tidak terbatas tempat dan waktu, menawarkan nilai lebih untuk partisipasi pada semua kalangan. Pengembangan electronic government memang erat sekali kaitannya dengan penggunaan teknologi informasi yang sebagai sarana promosi yang sangat efektif. Pada tataran pemerintahan kita mengenal istilah Electronic Government yang sedang menjadi trend saat ini, perkembangan teknologi secara global yang melanda seluruh aspek kehidupan dan membawa banyak sekali perubahan secara revolusioner. Pada pariwisata menjadi salah satu bidang garapan pemerintah daerah untuk meningkatkan potensi wisata di daerah dengan memanfaatkan Electronic Government. Sehingga penerapan Electronic Government untuk memberikan arah, pedoman dan landasan hukum dalam rangka pembangunan, pelaksanaan dan pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen di lingkungan pemerintah daerah dan seluruh jajarannya. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengembangan Electronic Government dalam peningkatan sektor pariwisata dan faktor apa sajakah yang mempengaruhi pengembangan Electronic Government dalam peningkatan sektor pariwisata. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data yang digunakan penulis diperoleh dari Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kota Batu. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data yang diperoleh dikumpulkan, serta dianalisa kemudian diuraikan secara rinci untuk mengetahui permasalahan dan mencari penjelasannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, sistem Electronic Government atau teknologi informasi yang dilakukan Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kota Batu masih mengutamakan pada website pariwisata dalam meningkatkan sektor pariwisata. Dengan memanfaatkan website tersebut diharapkan kedepannya sektor pariwisata di Kota Batu semakin pesat dan dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat luas baik nasional maupun internasional. Saran dari penulis adalah pengembangan Electronic Government memang erat sekali kaitannya dengan penggunaan teknologi informasi sebagai sarana promosi yang sangat efektif. Maka hal tersebut perlu sekiranya dilakukan adanya peningkatan berita-berita yang terbaru pada website, tayangan pada televisi lokal, liputan dari majalah, koran dan sebagainya. Sehingga nantinya masyarakat akan terpengaruh dan ingin berwisata ke daerah tujuan wisatanya.
English Abstract
Electronic Government relating to the provision of information, services or products are prepared electronically by the government, is not limited to place and time, offering more value for participation in all walks of life. The development of electronic government is closely related to the use of information technology as a highly effective means of promotion. At the level of government we know the term Electronic Government which is becoming a trend nowadays, the global technological developments that hit all aspects of life and bring a lot of revolutionary changes. On tourism to be one of their field of local government to improve the tourism potential in the region by making use of Electronic Government. So the implementation of Electronic Government to provide direction, guidance and legal foundations in the development, implementation and development of management information systems at the local level and its entire staff. This research is focused to find and describe how the development of Electronic Government in the improvement of the tourism sector and what are the factors that influence the development of Electronic Government in improving the tourism sector. In this study the authors used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Authors used data obtained from the Department of Tourism and Culture of Batu City. Data used in this study is primary data and secondary data. The data obtained were collected, and analyzed later described in detail to find out the problems and find the explanation. Based on the research that has been done, the system carried Electronic Government Department of Tourism and Culture of Batu City was put on the website of tourism in boosting the tourism sector. By utilizing the website expected future tourism sector in Batu more rapidly and can be recognized by the public both nationally and internationally. Advice from the author is the development of Electronic Government is closely related to the use of information technology as a highly effective means of promotion. Then it needs to be done in case the increase is the latest news on the website, shows on local television, the coverage of magazines, newspapers and so on. So that the people would be affected and would like to travel to tourist destinations.
