Abstract
Tenaga kerja adalah pelaku pembangunan dan pelaku ekonomi baik secara individu maupun secara kelompok yang mempunyai peran yang signifikan dalam aktivitas perekonomian nasional. Secara umum proses pengiriman tenaga kerja Indonesia ke luar negeri dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menciptakan dan memperluas kesempatan kerja, meningkatkan penghasilan devisa bagi negara, meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, sehingga mengantarkan tenaga kerja Indonesia pada taraf kehidupan produktif, mandiri, dan sejahtera. Data departemen tenaga kerja dan transmigrasi tahun 2004 menunjukkan bahwa sumbangan devisa tenaga kerja Indonesia mencapai US $ 170,87 juta, sebagian besar devisa tersebut berasal dari tenaga kerja khususnya wanita dari sektor informal Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis apa saja kegunaan remitan yang dihasilkan para BMI purna terhadap keluarga mereka serta kontribusinya ke desa Sukonolo untuk pembangunan desa serta meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana desa. Hasil penelitian untuk tunjuan pertama yaitu, Kontribusi BMI wanita pun semakin dapat dilihat dimulai dari banyak ibu rumah tangga lain yang tertarik untuk menjadi BMI di negara orang hingga sekarang. Dari saat itulah ekonomi di Desa Sukonolo meningkat dimulai dari tiap satu per satu keluarga yang menjadi sejahtera, Dapat memperbaiki pola makan menjadi lebih baik, selain itu mereka juga dapat merenovasi rumah, melunasi hutang hutang mereka serta menyekolahkan anak mereka Hasil analisis untuk tujuan kedua yaitu, Kondisi Desa Sukonolo pasca kepulangan para BMI tidak begitu banyak berubah selain rumah warganya yang terlihat lebih bagus serta tempat ibadah yang mulai ditambahkan dari iuran masing masing warga, namun tidak adanya sumbangan langsung dari para BMI purna ke kas desa untuk pembangunan desa
English Abstract
Labor is the development and economic actors both individually and in groups that have a significant role in national economic activity. In general, the process of sending Indonesian workers abroad is done with the aim of creating and expanding employment opportunities, increasing foreign exchange earnings for the country, improving the quality of human resources, thereby delivering Indonesian workers on the level of productive, independent, and prosperous life. Data from the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration in 2004 showed that the contribution of foreign exchange of Indonesian labor reached US $ 170.87 million, most of the foreign exchange came from labor especially women from informal sector The purpose of this research is to analyze what is the usefulness of remittance generated by the full BMI to their family and its contribution to Sukonolo village for rural development and to improve village facilities and infrastructures. The results of research for the first objective that is, the contribution of female BMI even more can be seen starting from many other housewives who are interested to become a BMI in the country people until now. From that moment the economy in Sukonolo village increased from every one by one family to prosper, Can improve the diet to be better, in addition they can also renovate the house, pay off their debt debt and send their children to school The result of the analysis for the second purpose is that the condition of Sukonolo Village after the return of the BMI has not changed so much in addition to the better-looking citizen's house and the place of worship which is added from the contribution of each citizen, but the absence of direct donation from the full BMI to the village treasury village development.
