Abstract
PT. Herlinah Cipta Pratama merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri pangan dengan produk khas yaitu dodol garut PICNIC. Pada penelitian ini objek pengamatan adalah operator mixing dodol yang memiliki sistem produksi semi-otomatis. Mekanisme sistem produksi adalah 1 operator bertanggungjawab terhadap 1 mesin dalam total waktu 3,5 jam dengan jumlah mesin sebanyak 18. Sistem produksi ternyata meberikan hasil yang kurang efektif karena bedasarkan sudut pandang perusahaan, waktu istirahat memiliki prosentase yang lebih besar yaitu sekitar 58% dibanding prosentase waktu kerja yaitu sekitar 42% dari waktu total. Hal tersebut disebabkan adanya waktu istirahat berlebih ketika mesin bekerja tanpa melibatkan tenaga kerja operator. Pada penelitian kali ini dilakukan 3 perhitungan bedasarkan data waktu dan pengukuran denyut jantung operator. Data waktu yang diolah menggunakan metode time study untuk menghitung waktu baku kerja operator mesin mixing. Data denyut jantung digunakan dalam proes perhitungan konsumsi energi. Selanjutnya gabungan hasil dari dua pengolahan sebelumnya yaitu terkait waktu baku dan konsumsi energi menjadi input perhitungan waktu istirahat yang diperlukan operator pada stasiun kerja mixing di PT. Herlinah cipta pratama. Setelah dilakukan penelitian maka terdapat usulan perbaikan yang diajukan. Perbaikan dengan pemetaan kerja yang meminimalisir jumlah operator dari 18 menjadi 12 operator, dengan peta kerja yang melibatkan 3 mesin mixing yang dioperasikan oleh 2 operator. Usulan tersebut memiliki hasil yang lebih efektif dimana perbaikan tersebut terbukti dapat membuat waktu istirahat existing yang awalnya memiliki 58% dari waktu total berkurang menjadi 39% untuk operator 1 dan 51% untuk operator 2. Sedangkan untuk waktu kerja existing yang awalnya memiliki 42% dari waktu total bertambah menjadi 61% untuk operator 1 dan 49% untuk operator 2.
English Abstract
PT. Herlinah Cipta Pratama is a food company with their special product called dodol garut PICNIC. This research object is the mixing worker that have a semi-automatic production system. Mechanism of the production system is 1 worker will be responsible for 1 machine during 3,5 hours with total 18 machines. Existing production system that have self perspective from the company apparently isn’t effective because they have 58% for the rest time compared to 42% for the working time. This number caused by the over rest time during machine turned on while the worker not participated with. This reserach will have 3 steps based on the data, there are time and worker heart rate measurement. The time measurement will use time study method that processed to standard time for the mixing worker. The heart rate datawill be processed to be energy consumption. Both of result form time and heart rate data will be input for the rest time needed measurement process for the mixing worker in PT. Herlinah Cipta Pratama. After the knowing about the existing system, there is a proposal for improving their utility. The proposal discuss about work mapping that minimize the number of worker from 18 to 12, involved 2 worker that responsible for 3 mixing machines. This proposal have more effective impact, in which this improvement can reduce 58% the existing over rest time to 39% for 1st worker and 51% for 2nd worker. Whereas working time increase from 42% in the existing condition to 61% for 1st worker and 49% for 2nd worker.
