Febrianti, Arinda (2017) Perbedaan Perubahan Warna Antara Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cement Dengan Nano Ionomer Setelah Perendaman Dalam Kopi Hitam Robusta (Coffea Robusta). Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
Masyarakat Indonesia memiliki kebiasan minum kopi.
English Abstract
Indonesian people have coffee drinking habits. Coffee have negative impacts, which can lead to discoloration of teeth and restoration materials. Tannin is a color pigment in coffee that can cause discoloration. The purpose of this research is to discover the differences of color changes between Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cement with Nano Ionomer after immersion in robusta black coffee (Coffea robusta). The method used was pre - post test group design. Research samples are Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cement and Nano Ionomer in the form of cylindrical with 15 mm diameter and 3 mm thick. The 32 samples were immersed in artificial saliva and divided into 8 groups, ie groups of samples 1 and 5 (immersed in coffee drinks for 1 day), groups 2 and 6 (immersed in coffee drinks for 3 days), groups 3 and 7 (immersed in coffee drinks for 5 days), and groups 4 and 8 (immersed in coffee drinks for 7 days). The statistical test used is One Way Anova and Independent T-Test. One Way Anova shows P-value > 0.05, so it is known that the duration of immersion has no effect on the color changes. Independent T-Test shows the total color change value (ΔE) from Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cement is significantly different from Nano Ionomer. The conclusion of this research is Nano Ionomer’s brightness more stable than Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cement’s.
