Abstract
Pembangkit listrik tenaga mini hidro (PLTM) adalah pembangkit listrik tenaga air dengan skala daya yang dihasilkan 100 kW – 5 MW. Di Indonesia sendiri mempunyai potensi pembangkit listrik tenaga air (PLTA) sebesar 70.000 mega watt (MW). Potensi ini baru dimanfaatkan sekitar 6 persen atau 3.529 MW atau 14,2 % dari jumlah energi pembangkitan PT PLN. PLTM dipilih sebagai salah satu energi alternatif dikarenakan memiliki beberapa keunggulan dibanding dengan pembangkit listrik lainnya, seperti ramah lingkungan, lebih awet, biaya operasional lebih kecil dan sesuai untuk daerah terpencil. Disamping itu perawatan mekanik PLTM lebih mudah. Pada penelitian ini, lokasi studi berada di Desa kepil, Kabupaten Wonosobo. Tahap awal penelitian ini adalah menentukan tiga alternative site pada sungai, kemudian dilakukan analisis hidrologi yang bertujuan untuk mencari debit banjir rancangan dan debit andalan pada masing- masing site guna menentukan dimensi bangunan hingga daya dan energi dari PLTM Kepil. Lalu memilih site yang paling optimal untuk dibangun PLTM. Bangunan yang akan direncakan meliputi Bendung, Intake, Bak Pengendap, Saluran Pembawa, Bak Penenang, Pipa pesat, Rumah Pembangkit, dan Saluran Pembuang. Setelah dilakukan perencanaan PLTM maka akan diketahui nilai daya (kW) yang dihasilkan serta produksi energi tahunan (kWh). Hasil penelitian dari studi ini didapatkan debit pembangkit dengan keandalan 75% sebesar 1,377m3/dt. Tinggi jatuh efektif rata-rata sebesar 24,08 meter. Jenis turbin yang digunakan adalah Francis. Daya rerata yang dapat dihasilkan sebesar 222,49 kW serta energi yang dihasilkan dalam satu tahun sebesar 1,942 GWh. Banyaknya rumah yang mendapat suplai dari PLTM Kepil sebanyak 494 rumah dengan kebutuhan listrik setiap rumah sebesar 450 W.
English Abstract
Mini-hydro power plants (PLTM) was a hydroelectric power plant with the scale of the generated power of 100 kW - 5 MW. Indonesia has a potential hydroelectric power plant of 70,000 mega watts (MW). This potential was only used by about 6 percent, or 3,529 MW, or 14.2% of the total energy generation PT PLN. PLTM selected as one of the alternative energy due to have several advantages compared with other power generators, such as environmentally friendly, more durable, lower operating costs and was suitable for remote areas. Besides, micro power mechanical maintenance easier. In this research, the study area was located in Kepil village, Wonosobo, Central Java. The initial phase of this study was to determine the three alternative site on the river, then conducted hydrological analysis aimed at finding the design flood discharge and discharge mainstay at each site to determine the dimensions of the building up to the power and energy of micro power coasters. Then choose the most optimal site for micro power plants built. The building that include intake, sand trap, headrace, forebay, penstock, power house, and tailrace. After planning it will be known micro power rated power (kW) generated as well as the annual energy production (kWh). The results of the present study obtained discharge plant with 75% reliability of 1,377m3 / sec. High effective fall that used to generate micro power plants amounted to 24,08 meters. Turbine used in the study area was kind of Francis. The average power that could be generated by 222.49 kW as well as the energy generated in one year amounted to 1,942 GWh. The homes that received coasters supply of micro power plants of 494 homes with electricity needs of every home at 450 W.
