Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis tentang: 1) Konsep budaya kearifan lokal dengan adanya perayaan larung sesaji di Pantai Ngliyep Desa Kedungsalam Malang. 2) Mengetahui perayaan upacara tradisi adat larung sesaji pada masyarakat pesisir Pantai Ngliyep Desa Kedungsalam Malang. 3) Serta untuk mengetahui terjadinya perubahan dari makna perayaan larung sesaji dari zaman tradisional hingga memasuki zaman modern. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan analisis data kualitatif dengan mengunakan pendekatan etnografi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan teknik pengambilan data purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian dapat di deskripsikan sebagai berikut: (1) Sejarah Upacara Labuhan di Pantai Ngliyep dengan kepala Desa Kedungsalam yang mendapatkan sebuah ujian berupa pagebluk yang melanda warganya, akhirnya beliau mengadakan Upacara Labuhan di Pantai Ngliyep (2) Pelaksanaan Upacara yang terdiri dari persiapan, pengeluaran dana, hingga prosesi upacara tradisi adat (3) Serta larung sesaji sebagai konsep budaya kearifan lokal dengan perkembangan di zaman modern yaitu sebagai budaya warisan dan sebagai sumber pendapatan bagi masyarakat pesisir Pantai Ngliyep.
English Abstract
This research is about: (1) The concept of local culture with a ritual called larung sesaji on Ngliyep Beach, Kedungsalam, Malang. (2) Discovering the ritual larung sesaji that celebrated by the local people on the toast of Ngliyep Beach, Kedungsalam, Malang. (3) Knowing the change of the essence of the ritual larung sesaji from traditional era to modern era. The method used for this research is descriptive method with qualitative analysis and etnography approach. The method used for collecting data is observation, interview and documentation with purpose sampling. The results of the study can be described as follows: (1) The history of the offering ceremony at the Ngliyep beach with the village head who get a disaster in the form of pagebluk that struck the citizens, finally he held a ceremony larung sesaji on Ngliyep beach. (2) The implementation of the ceremony consisting of: preparation, expenditure of funds, until the procession of traditional ceremonies. (3) As well as larung sesaji as the conceptt of local wisdom culture with the development in modern era as a cultural heritage and source of income for Ngliyep beach residents.
