Abstract

Hampir semua kalangan masyarakat memanfaatkan buncis, mulai dari ibu rumah tangga yang membutuhkan dalam jumlah sedikit sampai ke industri pengolahan yang membutuhkan dalam jumlah besar dan berkelanjutan. Selain dikonsumsi di dalam negeri ternyata buncis juga telah diekspor. Mengingat buncis sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat Indonesia dan masyarakat luar negeri maka dapat diketahui banyaknya produksi buncis yang dibutuhkan. Kebutuhan masyarakat akan buncis terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun seiring dengan pertumbuhan penduduk. Permintaan masyarakat untuk komoditas buncis setiap tahunnya stabil untuk konsumsi di Indonesia tetapi tidak diikuti dengan hasil produksi yang signifikan. Menurut Kementrian Pertanian (2016) produksi buncis di Indonesia pada tahun 2010 - 2014 mengalami penurunan. Sehingga masih perlu dikembangkan varietas yang memiliki produksi dan kualitas yang lebih baik agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Tanaman buncis sendiri di Indonesia masih banyak dibudidayakan di dataran medium dan tinggi dimana terutama di dataran tinggi sering terjadi kerusakan sehingga mengurangi luas areal pertanian menyebabkan hasil dari tanaman buncis menurun sehingga belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat saat ini. Untuk itu dilakukan pengembangan varietas-varietas buncis baru yang mampu tumbuh berproduksi baik di dataran rendah, medium maupun tinggi. Sehingga pada penelitian ini dilakukan uji penampilan karakter agronomi dan uji stabilitas dan adaptabilitas genotip potensial buncis polong kuning di ketinggian tempat yang berbeda. Setelah ciri-ciri dan uji stabilitas dan adaptabilitas tanaman buncis diketahui nantinya bisa digunakan sebagai informasi awal untuk dilakukan seleksi pada tanaman buncis. Sehingga hasil seleksi tanaman buncis sesuai dengan keadaan setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi genotip dengan lingkungan yang mempengaruhi penampilan genotip buncis dan untuk mengetahui genotip buncis yang mempunyai hasil tinggi dan stabil Penelitian berlokasi di tiga tempat, Desa Jatikerto, Kecamatan Kromengan Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur Lahan pertanian Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya di Kelurahan Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. Desa Pandansari, Kecamatan Pujon, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga Juli 2017. Bahan yang digunakan 4 genotip yaitu CSxGI 63-0-24, CSxGK 50-0-24, Cherokee Sun, dan Lebat 3. Bahan lainnya yakni pupuk Urea, SP-36, KCl, dan pestisida. Alat yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah cangkul, ajir bambu, meteran ukur, timbangan analitik, kamera, data iklim, alat pertanian dalam bercocok tanam, papan label, buku dan alat tulis. Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan analisis ragam gabungan dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pada 3 lokasi, dengan perlakuan 4 genotip dan 4 ulangan pada masing-masing lokasi, tiap ulangan terdapat 30 tanaman. Semua tanaman diambil sampel tiap petakan percobaan. Karakter yang diamati yaitu karakter kuantitatif yang meliputi panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, umur awal berbunga (hst), umur awal panen (hst), kluster per tanaman, polong per tanaman, panjang polong (cm), diameter polong (cm), jumlah biji per polong, bobot per polong (g), bobot polong per tanaman (g) dan potensi hasil per hektar (ton ha-1). Pada karakter kuantitatif dilakukan analisa menggunakan analisis ragam untuk Rancangan Acak Kelompok, tiap lokasi, ragam gabungan dan uji stabilitas dan adaptabilitas. Apabila berbeda nyata di uji lanjut menggunakan BNT taraf 5%. Berdasarkan penelitian penampilan karakter agronomi genotip buncis polong kuning pada ketinggian tempat yang berbeda dapat disimpulkan terdapat interaksi genotip dengan lingkungan pada variabel panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, umur awal berbunga, umur awal panen, kluster per tanaman, polong per tanaman, panjang polong, diameter polong, bobot per polong, bobot polong per tanaman, jumlah biji dan potensi hasil. Pada uji stabilitas dan adaptabilitas dapat di kelompokkan, terdapat empat genotip yang memenuhi kriteria stabil pada rerata hasil panen yaitu CSxGK 50-0-24 dan CSxGI 63-0-24 adaptif pada lingkungan yang luas, satu genotip yang adaptif di lingkungan yang optimal yaitu Lebat 3 dan satu genotip yang adaptif pada lingkungan marginal yaitu Cherooke Sun.

English Abstract

Almost all of the societies use common beans, ranging from the housewives who need in a small amount to the processing industry which need in a large amount and also sustainable. Besides being consumed domestically, common beans have also been exported. Regarding that the common beans are needed by Indonesian people and also the foreign community, it can be known the number of common beans production needed. The public needs for common bean continues to increase from year to year along with the population growth. Community demand for common beans is stable every year for consumption in Indonesia but not followed by significant production. According to the Ministry of Agriculture (2016) the production of common beans in Indonesia in 2010 – 2014 are decreased. So it is still necessary to develop varieties that have better production and quality in order to meet the needs of consumers. Common beans themselves in Indonesia are still widely cultivated in the medium and high altitude where mainly in the high altitude are often damaged so reducing the area of agriculture causes the result of the bean plant decreased so as not to meet the needs of today's society. For that purpose, the development of new varieties of common beans that grow well in low, medium and high altitude. So in this research, the characteristic of agronomy performance and stability and adaptability analysis of potential genotypes common bean yellow pod at different altitude. After the characteristics and stability and adaptability analysis of common bean plants is known later can be used as early information for selection on common bean plants. So that the results of selection of common beans in accordance with local circumstances. This study aims to determine the interaction of genotypes with the environment that affects the perfomance of the genotype of common beans and to determine the genotype of common beans that have a high yield and stable The research is located in three places Jatikerto Village, Kromengan District, Malang Regency, East Java Agricultural field Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University in Jatimulyo Subdistrict, Lowokwaru District, Malang Regency, East Java. Pandansari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency, East Java. The research was conducted from March to July 2017. Materials used 4 genotypes are CSxGI 63-0-24, CSxGK 50-0-24 and Lebat 3. Other materials are Urea fertilizer, SP-36, KCl, and pesticides. The tool used in this research is hoe, bamboo tread, measuring meter, analytical scale, camera, climate data, agricultural tools in farming, label board, book and stationery. The research was conducted using combine analysis with completely randomized block design at three locations, with treatment of 4 genotypes and 4 replicates at each location, each replication was 30 plants. All plants were sampled each plot. The observed characters are the quantitative character which includes the length of the plant, the number of leaves, the early age of flowering (dap), the early age of harvest (dap), the cluster each plant, the pods each plant, the pod length (cm), the pod diameter (cm), the number of seeds each pod, weight each pod (g), weight of pod each plant (g) and yield potential each hectare (ton ha-1). In the quantitative characters, an analysis was performed using a variety analysis for Randomized Block Design each location, combine analysis variance at three locations, stability and adaptability analysis. If significantly different in the advanced test using BNT 5% level. Based on the research on the perfomance of agronomic character of the genotype of common bean yellow pod at different altitudes, it can be concluded that there is genotype interaction with the environment on the variable length of the plant, the number of leaves, the early age of flowering, the early age of harvest, the clusters each plant, the pods each plant, the pod length, the pod diameter, the number of seeds per pod, weight each pod, weight of pods each plant, and yield potential. In the stability analysis, there are 4 genotypes have the stable criteria on the average yield and adaptability analysis can be grouped of CSxGK 50-0-24 and CSxGI 63-0-23 24 adaptive to the wide environment, an adaptive genotype in optimal environment that is Lebat 3 and 1 genotypes adaptive to the marginal environment of Cherooke Sun.
