Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kesehatan bank pada PT Bank Maybank Indonesia, Tbk selama periode 2011-2015 dengan menggunakan metode RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, dan Capital). Penilitian ini diukur melalui beberapa rasio keuangan, antara lain NPL, IRR, LDR, LAR, CR, ROA, NIM, CAR, dan faktor Good Corporate Governance (GCG) pada metode RGEC. Penelitian dalam studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif yaitu melalui data sekunder yang telah dikumpulkan dari situs resmi PT Bank Maybank Indonesia, Tbk dalam bentuk laporan keuangan tahunan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi PT Bank Maybank Indonesia, Tbk pada umumnya sangat sehat dengan tingkat komposit 1. Meskipun ditemukan beberapa aspek penilaian dengan tingkat kesehatan bank pada tingkat komposit 2, hal ini tidak mempengaruhi hasil akhir dari tingkat kesehatan bank. Kondisi sehat tersebut mencerminkan bahwa bank mampu mengelola manajemen dengan baik, oleh karena itu bank dapat mendukung pengembangan usaha dan dapat mengantisipasi perubahan kondisi ekonomi dan industri perbankan.
English Abstract
The study aims to evaluate the bank soundness level of PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk in the period of 2011 to 2015using RGEC method (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, and Capital). It was measured through some financial ratios such as NPL, IRR, LDR, LAR, CR, ROA, NIM, CAR, and factors of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on RGEC method. The type of research in the study is a quantitative descriptive with the use of secondary data which were collected from the official website of PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk in the form of annual financial report. The results of this study showed that the condition of PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk in general is very healthy with composite level 1.There are some assessment aspectsresulted in moderate level of bank soundness but not affecting the final result of bank soundness level. The healthy condition reflects that the bank is able to manage its management properly;therefore bank can support the development of its business and can anticipate the changes in economic conditions and banking industry.
