Abstract
Kesulitan keuangan merupakan tahapan awal suatu perusahaan dalam proses menuju kebangkrutan, Jika perusahaan mengalami kebangkrutan, akan ada banyak pihak yang dirugikan, jadi untuk itulah diperlukan model prediksi kebangkrutan yang dapat memberikan peringatan dini bagi perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat ketepatan model Altman, Springate dan Zmijewski dalammemprediksi financial distress. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dalam pemilihan sampel datanya. Sampel data yang terpilih adalah 8 perusahaan manufaktur delisting dari Bursa Efek Indonesia dalam periode tahun 2009 sampai dengan tahun 2015. Hasil penelitian terhadap sampel menunjukkan bahwa ketiga model tersebut dapat memprediksi financial distressdengan tingkat ketepatan sama untuk model Altman Z-Score dan Springate S-Score, yaitu 87,5%, serta75% untuk model Zmijewski X-Score.
English Abstract
Financial distress is the first stage of a company’s process to go bankrupt. If a company goes bankrupt, there are many people who will be harmed, thus bankruptcy prediction models are needed to provide an early warning for the company. The purpose of this study is to determine the accuracy of Altman, Springate and Zmijewski Models to predictfinancial distress. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a purposive sampling technic for choosing data sample. The sample data choosen are 8 manufacturing companies delisting from the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2009-2015. The result showsthat the three models can predict the financial distress with same level of accuracy for Altmant Z-Score model and Springate S-Score which accuracy level is87.5%, while Zmijewski X-Score model shows accuracy of 75%.
