Abstract

Peningkatan hasil tanaman tomat (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) perlu dilakukan guna memenuhi kebutuhan manusia. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil tanaman tomat yaitu dengan memberikan biourin sapi dan pupuk NPK. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mempelajari pengaruh aplikasi biourin sapi dan pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat, serta mendapatkan kombinasi yang tepat. Penelitian dilaksanakan di UPT Pengembangan Benih Palawija, Randuagung, Singosari, Malang pada bulan April sampai Juli 2017 dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari 8 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perlakuan kombinasi biourin sapi dan pupuk NPK tidak berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun, umur berbunga, umur panen pertama, umur panen terakhir, presentase fruitset dan bobot per buah. Perlakuan kombinasi biourin sapi dan pupuk NPK memberikan pengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah bunga, jumlah buah panen per tanaman dan bobot buah panen per tanaman. Perlakuan (Biourin 500 L ha-1 + Pupuk NPK 800 kg ha-1) menghasilkan jumlah buah panen per tanaman yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan perlakuan P1 (Biourin 0 + Pupuk (Urea 150 kg ha-1, SP 36 150 kg ha-1, KCl 150 kg ha-1)) dan perlakuan P8 (Biourin 2500 L ha-1 + Pupuk NPK 0 kg ha-1). Perlakuan P4 (Biourin 500 L ha-1 + Pupuk NPK 800 kg ha-1) menghasilkan bobot buah yang lebih besar dibandingkan perlakuan P8 (Biourin 2500 L ha-1 + Pupuk NPK 0 kg ha-1).

English Abstract

Production of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) could be improved to meet human needs. The effort can be increase tomato yield is aplication cow biourine and NPK fertilizer. The purpose of research is to study the effect of cow biourine and NPK fertilizer on growth and yield of tomato, and to get the best combination. The experiments was conducted at UPT Pengembangan Benih Palawija, Randuagung, Singosari, Malang in April to July 2017 used Randomized Competely Block Design (RCBD) with 8 treatment combination was repeated 3 times. The results showed that combination cow biourine and NPK fertilizer did not significantly on number of leaves, flowering date, firts harvesting, last harvesting, presentage of fruitset, and weight fruits-1. However, combination cow biourine and NPK fertilizer has a significant effect on plant height, number of flowers, number of fruits plant-1, weight of fruits plant-1. P4 treatment (Cow biourine 500 L ha-1 + NPK fertilization 800 kg ha-1) produces greater number of fruits plant-1 than P1 treatment (Cow biourine 0 + (Urea 150 kg ha-1, SP 36 150 kg ha-1, KCl 150 kg ha-1)) fertilization and P8 treatment (Cow biourine 2500 L ha-1 + NPK fertilization 0 kg ha-1). P4 treatment (Cow biourine 500 L ha-1 + NPK fertilization 800 kg ha-1) produces greater weight fruits plant-1 than P8 treatment (Cow biourine 2500 L ha-1 + NPK fertilization 0 kg ha-1).
