Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses framing dalam kampanye
English Abstract
This research intends to ascertain the framing process in the "detox" campaign againsts Adidas which is held by Greenpeace as Non-Governmental Organization that has focus in environment's protection and restoration efforts. The "detox" campaign in this research, was taking place in 2011 untill 2014 and started as an investigation effort held by Greenpeace towards the disposal pipes of toxic wastes of textile company in China. According to the result of the investigation, Adidas is one of the companies that caused the toxic waste defilement in China's waters. As a settlement effort, Greenpeace held the "detox" campaign that was supported by thousands of people from many countries. The writer of this research observes the accomplishment of the campaign by means of framing process that held by Greenpeace through Ideal-Type Frame by Jurgen Gerhard. According to the frame, there are 5 ideal process that have to be done in social movement actions. They are interpreting an issue and defining it as a problem, causal attribution: definition of cause and agent, framing the goals and chances for success, framing the addressee of demands dan self
