Abstract
Bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) merupakan komoditas hortikultura berjenis umbi lapis yang memiliki banyak manfaat dan bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Ketersediaan bawang merah dalam negeri masih rendah dibandingkan kebutuhan akan bawang merah yang tinggi. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil bawang merah adalah penerapan teknologi yang sesuai dengan budidaya bawang merah yaitu pemupukan dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah melalui perbaikan sifat fisik dan kimia tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh arang sekam padi, jerami bakar dan dosisi pupuk kandang terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah Terdapat interaksi antara arang sekam padi, jerami bakar dengan dosis pupuk kandang.Terdapat pengaruh antara arang sekam padi dan jerami bakar terhadap hasil dan pertumbuhan bawang merah.Semakin tinggi dosisi pupuk kandang semakin tinggi hasil dan pertumbuhan bawang merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan. Dadaprejo Kec. Martorejo, Kota Batu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Mei 2017. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok(RAK), dengan 2 faktor perlakuan, yaitu: Faktor 1 kontrol,Arang sekam, jerami bakar dan faktor 2 pupuk kandang. Peubah yang diamati berupa : panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, pengamatan bobot segar pertanaman, pengamatan bobot kering pertanaman, jumlah umbi, diameter umbi, dan hasil panen. Untuk data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam (uji F) pada taraf 5% dan apabila hasil uji diperoleh hasil yang berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan Uji BNT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkanbahwa terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan arang sekam padi, jerami bakar dengan pemberian pupuk kandang ayam terhadap bobot segar tanaman pada umur 40 HST dan 50 HST.Bahan organik arang sekam padi 20 ton/ha mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan panjang tanaman sebesar 11,26% dibanding perlakuan tanpa B.O, pemberian arang sekam juga meningkatkan jumlah daun sebesar 31,40%, pemberian arang sekam mampu meningkatkan jumlah anakan sebesar70,80%. Dan arang sekam juga meningkatkan jumlah bobot segar tanaman sebesar 48,87%. Dosis pupuk kandangayam 15 ton/ha mampu meningkatkan hasil panen sebesar 45,27% dari pada perlakuan 0 ton/ha.
English Abstract
Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) is a diversified horticultural commodities tuber that has many benefits and high economic value. Availability of shallots in the country remains low compared to demand for shallots is high, thus the productivity of shallots in Indonesia needs to be improved. One effort to increase the yield of shallots is the application of technology in accordance with the cultivation of shallots is fertilization. The use of organic fertilizers can be applied in an effort to improve the growth and yield of shallots by improving soil physical and chemical properties. This study aimed to determine the effect of paddy husk, straw biochardand dosage of manure on growth and yield of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) The hypothesis of this study was the interaction between paddy husk, straw biochard at a dose of manure. Among the rice husk and straw charcoalthere are differences in the yield and growth of shallots. The higher the dosage of manure the higher the yield and growth of shallots. This study was conducted in an area that in the Village. Dadaprejo District. Martorejo, Batu. This study was conducted in March-May 2017. The experiment arranged inRandomized Block Design (RBD), with 2 factors, namely: Factor 1 control, charcoal husk, straw biochard and factor 2 is manure. Variables measured consist of: plant length, number of leaves, number of tillers, fresh weight, dry weight, the number of bulbs, bulbs diameter, and harvest. For data obtained from observations were analyzed using analysis of variance (F test) at the level of 5%, and if the test results obtained significant different then continued with LSD test at 5% level. The results showed there was a real interaction between the treatment of dosage of manure with organic material of rice husk and grated straw on fresh weight of plants aged 40 DAP and 50 DAP. Organic material is able to provide a response and increase the length of the plant at theamounted to 11.26% compared to treatment without granting organic material. Organic material also increased the number of leaves by 31.40%,giving organic material able to increase the number of tillers amounted to70.80% and organic material also increase the amount of fresh weightby 48.87%.In the treatment dose whereas chicken manure gives best response are at treatment doses of chicken manure 15 tonnes/hectarebetter at 45.27% of the treatment 0 tonnes/hectare.
