Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana pola jaringan komunikasi secara utuh dan berdasarkan informasi politik pada organisasi Banten Memilih saat Pemilihan Gubernur Banten tahun 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis jaringan komunikasi dengan tipe deskriptif . Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuisioner (sebagai wawancara tidak terstruktur), dan wawancara tidak terstruktur dengan informan. Teknik analisis terdiri dari analisis data kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan aplikasi UCINET 6.0 dan analisis kualitatif dengan menggunakan konsep modal sosial dan teori struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk jaringan komunikasi global dan jaringan komunikasi informasi politik pada organisasi Banten Memilih memiliki kecenderungan berbentuk pola Y, dimana aktor Indra P sebagai penanggung jawab Banten Memilih menjadi aktor penting dalam jaringan. Tetapi tidak menutup kemungkinan ada aktor lain yang juga berperan dalam jaringan. Para anggota Banten Memilih menggunakan relasi mereka yang mereka dapatkan sebelumnya sesuai latar belakang yang dimiliki untuk kepentingan Banten Memilih. Kemudian, sebaliknya Banten Memilih juga memberikan dampak pada berkembangnya modal sosial para anggotanya terutama terkait relasi.

English Abstract

This research aims to study the patterns of network communication as a whole and based on political information on the organization Banten Memilih at Banten Governor Election 2017. This research used communication network analysis method with descriptive type. Data collection techniques using questionnaires (as unstructured interviews), and unstructured interviews with informants. The analysis technique consists of quantitative data analysis, using UCINET 6.0 application and qualitative analysis using the concept of social capital and structural theory. The results show the shape of global communication networks and political information communication networks in Banten Memilih organization has a tendency shaped Y pattern, where the actor Indra P as the coordinator of Banten Memilih to become an important actor in the network. But there any possibility for other actors who also play a role in the network. The members of Banten Memilih use their relation that they got before, according to the background they have for the purposes of Banten Memilih. Then, on the contrary Banten Memilih also gives impact on the development of social capital of its members, especially related to relations.
