Abstract
Masalah pengangguran merupakan masalah yang sangat komplek yang dialami oleh setiap negara berkembang. Secara ekonomi makro, pengangguran menjadi permasalahan pokok baik dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Dengan tingkat pengangguran, dapat dilihat ketimpangan atau kesenjangan distribusi pendapatan yang diterima suatu masyarakat. Pokok dari permasalahan ini bermula dari terjadinya kesenjangan antar variabel yang mempengaruhi pengangguran dengan rendahnya tingkat penyerapan tenaga kerja yang ada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat upah minimum, inflasi, dan jumlah penduduk terhadap pengangguran yang terjadi di Kota Malang tahun 1996 – 2013. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, uji hepotesis menggunakan pengujian secara parsial (Uji t), simultan (Uji F), Uji koefisien Determinan (R2), dan dengan Uji asumsi klasik. Data – data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data pengangguran, upah minimum, inflasi, dan jumlah penduduk Kota Malang tahun 1996 – 2013. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel UMK mempunyai pengaruh negatif yang tidak signifikan terhadap variabel pengangguran dengan nilai sig t (0,296) > = 0,05, variabel inflasi mempunyai pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap variabel pengangguran dengan nilai sig t (0,039) < = 0,05, dan variabel jumlah penduduk mempunyai pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap variabel pengangguran dengan nilai sig t (0,025) < = 0,05, sedangkan secara simultan variabel UMK, inflasi, dan jumlah penduduk mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan.
English Abstract
The unemployment issue is a very complex problem that is experienced by any developing country. In macroeconomics, unemployment became a staple of good problem in the short term and long term. With unemployment rate, can be seen inequality or gap the distribution of income received a society. A staple of these problems originated from the occurrence of a gap between the variables that affect unemployment with low levels of absorption of labor there. The purpose of this research is to know how the minimum wage rate, inflation, and total population against unemployment which occurred in Malang in 1996 - 2013. Research on data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, test hepotesis test using partially (t-test), simultaneous (F Test), test the coefficient of a determinant (R2), and with a classic assumption Test. The Data used in this research is the unemployment data, minimum wage, inflation, and total population of Malang in 1996 - 2013. The results of this study indicate that the variable minimum wage has a negative influence is not significant to the unemployment variable with a value of sig t (0,296) > = 0,05, variable inflation had a significant positive effect on the unemployment variable with a value of sig t (0,039) < = 0,05, and variables population has a significant negative influence on the variable of unemployment with a value sig t (0,025) < = 0,05, while simultaneously variable minimum wage, inflation, and total population had significant influence.
