Abstract
PT Anugrah Jasa Caterindo, obyek penelitian, bergerak di usaha layanan jasa katering dan jasa-jasa lain terkait. Dalam menjalankan usahanya, perusahaan ini melayani proyek-proyek di berbagai lokasi di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Dengan berkembangnya usaha dan bertambahnya proyek–proyek yang dilayani, perusahaan memerlukan suatu sistem IT yang dapat mengintegrasikan semua kegiatan operasional perusahaan. Diantara sistem–sistem yang ditawarkan, PT Anugrah Jasa Caterindo memilih sistem Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Sistem yang berbasis web. Sistem ini juga membantu mendistribusikan data atau informasi kegiatan–kegiatan ke seluruh departement / unit dalam perusahaan tersebut dan memungkinkan pengaksesan data dan informasi termutakhir. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengamati dan mencari tahu bagaimana implementasi sistem ERP di PT Anugrah Jasa Caterindo dan manfaat–manfaat apa yang didapat. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dalam penelitiannya, dan teknik pengumpulan data yang meliputi: observasi, interview dan dokumentasi. Perusahaan mendapatkan manfaat dari sistem tersebut, ditinjau dari sisi efektifitas dan keefisienannya. Maksudnya: koordinasi antar sumberdaya untuk menangani permintaan material, kapasitas material, sumberdaya dan manajemen, dapat dilaksanakan dalam waktu singkat; dan pendistribusian informasi dan laporan ke seluruh departemen / unit dilaksanakan dalam waktu singkat. Implementasi system ERP mengurangi resiko duplikasi kegiatan – kegiatan yang dilakukan.
English Abstract
PT Anugrah Jasa Caterindo, the object observed and studied by the researcher, deals with catering and associated services business. The company provides the mentioned - services for projects located in different sites / areas throughout the country. Due to the increasing number of the company’s projects PT Anugrah Jasa Caterindo needs a sophisticated or modern IT system that can help integrate all the operational activities. Among the available systems offered, PT Anugrah Jasa Caterindo selected Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. It is a web – based system designed. The system helps to share or distribute common data and practices across the company and allows access of real – time data / information. In this research, the researcher is to observe and get to know how PT Anugrah Jasa Caterindo implement and get benefits from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by applying qualitative methodology; In order to get all information about the implementation of the system and the benefits gained, she uses Data Collecting Technique that include: observation, interviews and documentation. The company does gain benefits from the system, in the sense of effectiveness and efficiency. It means that coordination by all resources on managing material demand, material capacity, manpower and the management, can be carried-out in a very short time, and that the distribution of common information / report needed is quicker. The implementation of ERP system reduces redundancy within the company. Utilizing integrated applications and sharing a common database, there is no need for repetition of tasks.
