Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana PT Len Industri (Persero) menerapkan prinsip-prinsip GCG, mengetahui hubungan dari penerapan prinsip-prinsip dengan kinerja keuangan menurut sudut pandang perusahaan, serta hal-hal yang perlu diperbaiki dalam pengimplementasian GCG. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data penelitian yaitu wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan perusahaan telah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip GCG yang terdiri atas keterbukaan, akuntabilitas, tanggung jawab, kemandirian, dan kewajaran dengan cukup baik. Perusahaan merasa bahwa GCG akan turut memengaruhi peningkatan kinerja keuangan walaupun tidak dapat dirasakan secara instan melainkan membutuhkan proses dan waktu. Disamping itu, perusahaan masih perlu merealisasikan draft Whistle Blowing System (WBS) dan peraturan gratifikasi. Peraturan perusahaan mengenai reward dan punishment juga harus lebih diperjelas agar memotivasi para karyawan dalam bekerja sehingga kinerja perusahaan secara keseluruhan dapat lebih baik dari waktu ke waktu.
English Abstract
This research is conducted to have better understanding on how far PT Len Industri (Persero) does the implementation of GCG principles in relation to government’s rules, how it correlates to its financial performance from company’s view, and learn about things that the company should repair and do better in the year ahead. This research is a qualitative research with case study approach. Datas are collected through interview and documentation. The results of this research shows that said company has implemented the GCG Principles: transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness at PT Len Industri (Persero) are considered good enough. Len Industri thought that GCG will result in increase of financial performance, although it’s not instant and it needs proccess and time. Besides, Len Industri still needs to realize the draft Whistle Blowing System (WBS) and gratification regulation to further improve the company. The rules about reward and punishment also need to be more clear for all the employees so they would be motivated and do their job with their best performance, so the company could consistently improve in passing time.
