Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembangunan kawasan-kawasan kumuh yang ada di Kota Malang dalam perspektif Good Urban Governance. Peningkatan penduduk saat ini di Kota Malang sudah sangat pesat sekali dan hal ini tidak diimbangi dengan pengadaan ruang yang cukup bagi masyarakat. Sehingga timbulah kawasan-kawasan kumuh di perkotaan dan hal ini tidak sejalan dengan apa yang sudah ada di dalam RTRW (Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah) Kota Malang. Di Kota Malang sendiri setidaknya terdapat 29 kelurahan yang terindikasi kumuh dari total 57 kelurahan yang ada. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dimana teknik pengumpulan datanya, menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan keabsahan datanya menggunakan trianggulasi sumber. Hasil yang diperoleh didalam penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan, tentang bagaimana pemerintah mengatasi permasalahan kawasasan kumuh melalui program kampung tematik. dan juga program kampung tematik ini sekarang sudah mempunyai banyak dampak yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat penghuni kawasan kumuh, yang memiliki dampak perubahan pada sektor Infrastuktur, ekonomi maupun sosial masyarakatnya sendiri.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine how the development of slum areas in the city of Malang in the perspective of Good Urban Governance. The current population increase in Malang is very fast and this is not matched by the procurement of enough space for the community. So that emerged slum areas in urban areas and this is not in line with what is already in the Spatial Plan (Spatial Planning) of Malang. In the city of Malang alone there are at least 29 districk indicated slums of a total of 57 urban villages. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive where the technique of data collection, using interview, observation, documentation and the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results obtained in this study is to illustrate, about how the government overcomes the problem of slum inspection through thematic kampung program. and also this thematic village program now has many helpful impacts for the slum dwellers, who have had an impact on the infrastructure, economic and social sectors of their own communities.
