Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan perilaku belajar terhadap prestasi akademik.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei yang menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari kuesioner.Populasi digunakan adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Akuntansi Universitas Brawijaya.Dengan jumlah sampel adalah 286 mahasiswa.Pengukuran kecerdasan emosional terdiri dari aspek pengenalan diri, pengendalian diri, motivasi, empati dan ketrampilan sosial.pengukuran perilaku belajar terdiri dari aspek kebiasaan mengikuti pelajaran, kebiasaan membaca buku, kunjungan ke perpustakaan, dan kebiasaan menghadapi ujian. Sedangkan prestasi akademik diukur dengan IPK.Dengan analisis regresi berganda, diperoleh hasil baik dari uji parsial maupun uji simultan bahwa kecerdasan emosional dan perilaku belajar berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik.

English Abstract

Purpose of this study was to examine the influence of emotional intelligence and behavioral learning to academic achievement. This research uses a survey method that uses primary data obtained from questionnaires. Population used is a university student majoring in accounting Brawijaya, with a sample of 286 students. Measurement of emotional intelligence consists of aspects of self-knowledge, self-control, motivation, empathy and social skills. Measurement consists of studying behavioral aspects of the habit to learn, the habit of reading books, visiting the library, and the habits of the exam. Whereas academic achievement measured by GPA index. With multiple regression analysis, obtained good results from partial test and simultaneous test that emotional intelligence and learning behavior affects academic achievement.
