Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi adanya efek metode dalam penggunaan aitem favorabel dan unfavorabel pada Scale of Ethnic Experience (SEE). Penelitian ini melibatkan 400 mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Brawijaya dengan menggunakan teknik non-random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis CFA menggunakan software R versi 3.4.0 dengan package Lavaan. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua alternatif model dari CTCM dan empat alternatif model dari CTCM-1 untuk uji kecocokan model. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh alternatif model memiliki kecocokan dengan data dan hal tersebut berarti terdapat efek metode dari penggunaan aitem favorabel dan unfavorabel pada SEE.
English Abstract
This study aims to examine the potential of method effect with using favorable and unfavorable item in Scale of Ethnic Experience (SEE). This study involves 400 collage students in Faculty of Social and Political Science, University of Brawijaya using non-random sampling technique. The data is processed with analysisis CFA using software R version 3,4,0 with Lavaan package. This study utilizingtwo alternative model from CTCM and four alternative model from CTCM-1 to test the model’s fit. The result of this study showed that all of alternative model fit with the data and indicates there is a method effect from using favorable and unfavorable item in SEE.
