Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara tingkat self efficacy dengan strategi coping pada atlet basket yang mengalami cedera. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet basket, sedangkan sampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 63 atlet basket yang mengalami cedera. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tingkat self efficacy dengan strategi coping pada atlet basket yang mengalami cedera. Nilai signifikansi (ρ) sebesar 0.000 (< 0.05) dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0.548 yang artinya bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara tingkat self efficacy dengan strategi coping pada atlet basket yang mengalami cedera.
English Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine relationship between the level of self efficacy and coping strategies among basketball athletes who had injuries. This study used correlation quantitative method with purposive sampling. The population of this study was basketball athletes, and the sample consisted of 63 basketball athlete who had injuries. Data were analyzed using pearson product moment correlation. The result revealed significant relationship between the level of self efficacy and coping strategies who had injuries. The significant value (p) 0.000 (<0.05) with correlation coefficient r= 0.548, it showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the level of self efficacy and coping strategies among basketball athletes who had injuries.
