Abstract
Desa Kranji merupakan kawasan daerah pesisir yang terletak di Kecamatan Paciran, Kabupaten Lamongan, Propinsi Jawa Timur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui spesies hasil tangkapan, variasi jumlah spesies, variasi total berat hasil tangkapan dan komposisi hasil tangkapan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif survey. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah identifikasi berdasarkan 20 penciri morfologi dengan petunjuk buku Carpenter and Niem dan fishbase, rancangan percobaan menggunakan RAL dengan analisis statistik menggunakan uji ragam one-way ANOVA dan uji lanjutan LSD. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai bulan Juni 2017 yang bertempat di Pusat Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Kranji Lamongan Jawa Timur yang terletak ± 67 km dari ibu kota Lamongan dengan letak koordinat lokasi penelitian yaitu (6o48’50’’LS/112o20’25’’BT) dan letak koordinat daerah fishing ground yaitu (6o19’45’’LS/10o23’49’’LS, 112o39’58’’BT/114o43’55’’BT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama penelitian alat tangkap purse seine diperoleh hasil tangkapan yang terdiri dari 8 spesies dari 5 family. Hasil uji komposisi hasil tangkapan purse seine didapatkkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada spesies penyusun hasil tangkapan purse seine yang didaratakan di PPI Kranji. Namun tidak ada variasi atau beda signifikan pada jumlah spesies hasil tangkapan antar kapal maupun pada total hasil tangkapan purse seine antar kapal.
English Abstract
Kranji Village is a coastal area located in Paciran District, Lamongan Regency, East Java Province. The purpose of this research is to know catch species, variation of species, total variation of catch weight and composition of catch. The method used in this research is descriptive survey method. Data analysis method used was identification based on 20 morphological identifiers with Carpenter and Niem book manual and fishbase, experimental design using RAL with statistical analysis using one-way ANOVA and LSD advanced test. The research was conducted in May until June 2017 located at Fishing Landing Center (FLS) Kranji Lamongan East Java which is located ± 67 km from Lamongan capital with location of research location that is (6o48'50''LS / 112o20'25 ' BT) and the location of the coordinates of the fishing ground area (6o19'45''LS / 10o23'49''LS, 112o39'58''BT / 114o43'55''BT). The results showed that during the research of purse seine fishing gear obtained catch which consist of 8 species from 5 family. The results of the purse seine catch composition test showed significant differences in the species of the purse seine catcher which was stated in PPI Kranji. However, there were no significant variations or variations of catch species between ships and the total catches of purse seine between ships.
