Abstract
Kompetitif di internasional lebih kuat dari sebelumnya. Setiap negara di dunia berjuang untuk menyelamatkan negara-negara mereka dari keterbelakangan dan kemiskinan. Pendidikan adalah salah satu bagian dari elemen penting di negara ini untuk dikembangkan. Semua universitas di bumi ini berlomba untuk menjadi universitas terbaik. Salah satu persyaratan untuk bergabung dengan Universitas Internasional Peringkat Dunia adalah dari sisi internasional universitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meneliti proses di Kerjasama Luar Negeri (KSLN) Universitas Brawijaya dengan memproses peningkatan enam Sigma dan memberikan saran nyata kepada KSLN untuk mendukung kinerja yang lebih baik. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mencari dan menganalisis data. Hasil tesis minor ini adalah KSLN - Brawijaya University perlu menerapkan proyek Six Sigma untuk meningkatkan proses inkremental. Strategi nyata berdasarkan enam analisis Sigma adalah Rektor Unibraw harus mengadakan pertemuan dengan orang-orang di KSLN untuk melakukan brainstorming lebih banyak tentang KSLN dan menawarkan proyek Six Sigma ke KSLN.
English Abstract
Competitive in international is more vigorous than before. Every country in the world are struggling to save their countries from underdevelopment and poverty. Education is one part of the important element in the country to be developed; all of universities in this earth are racing to be the best university. One of the requirements to join with international universities world ranking is from international side of a university. The objective of this research is examining the process in the Kerjasama Luar Negeri (KSLN) of Brawijaya University by process improvement of six sigma and giving tangible suggestion to KSLN to support better performance. Researcher uses qualitative method to search and analysis the data. Result of this minor thesis is KSLN – Brawijaya University need to apply Six Sigma project to improve incremental process. The tangible strategy based on the Six Sigma analysis is Rector of Unibraw should have meeting with the people in the KSLN to brainstorm more about KSLN and offer Six Sigma project to the KSLN.
