Abstract
Tesis ini membahas penyebaran penyakit SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory) pada suatu populasi manusia yang merupakan salah satu fenomena yang dapat dimodelkan secara matematika. Penyakit SARS memiliki periode exposed selama 3-5 hari, sehingga populasi tersebut dibagi menjadi lima subpopulasi antara lain subpopulasi rentan, tervaksin, exposed, terinfeksi, dan sembuh. Pola penyebaran penyakit SARS digambarkan dalam model epidemi SVEIR yang merupakan modifikasi dari model epidemi SVIR dengan menambahkan subpopulasi E (exposed). English Abstract
This thesis discusses the spread of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory) disease in a human population is one of the phenomena that can be mathematically modeled. SARS disease has a period exposed for 3-5 days, so the population is divided into five subpopulations, namely, susceptible, vaccinated, exposed, infected, and recovered. The pattern of SARS disease spread is illustrated in the SVEIR epidemic model which is a modification of the SVIR epidemic model by adding an E (exposed) subpopulation. In the SVEIR model, there are two control variables in the form of vaccination
