Abstract
Siswa kelas X SMK PGRI 3 Malang kesulitan dalam menganalisis kaidah kebahasaan di antaranya konjungsi temporal, kata kerja, kalimat perintah, dan kalimat seru pada teks anekdot karena minat baca yang dimiliki siswa terbatas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara minat baca dengan kemampuan menganalisis kaidah kebahasaan di antaranya konjungsi temporal, kata kerja, kalimat perintah, dan kalimat seru pada teks anekdot pada siswa kelas X SMK PGRI 3 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian expost facto. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Jurusan Pembangkit SMK PGRI 3 Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data di antaranya wawancara, kuesioner, tes, dan uji validitas isi kuesioner, uji validitas isi dan diskrit soal objektif, reabilitas Spearman Brown soal objektif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji validitas kuesioner, uji reabilitas kuesioner, analisis deskriptif persentase kuesioner minat baca, uji prasyarat data, dan uji hipotesis statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh antara minat baca dengan kemampuan menganalisis kaidah kebahasaan teks anekdot. Hal itu disebabkan pada hasil perhitungan yang diperoleh dari persamaan regresi yaitu variabel terikat (Y) = 2.087 + 0,264X. Dari persamaan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa setiap penambahan 1 nilai minat membaca maka nilai kemampuan menganalisis kaidah kebahasaan teks anekdot akan bertambah sebesar 0,264. Pada hasil perhitungan uji taraf signifikansi diperoleh sebesar 0,103 > 0,05. Dasar ketentuannya adalah regresi dikatakan tidak signifikan atau tidak memenuhi kriteria linearitas. Pada hasil perhitungan nilai diketahui t hitung sebesar 1,731 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,103. Dasar ketentuannya adalah jika nilai signifikansi > 0,05, maka Ho diterima dan H1 ditolak. Hasil perhitungan uji determinasi diketahui bahwa hasil nilai R Square atau koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,158. Berdasarkan hasil uji determinasi tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa faktor minat baca mampu menjelaskan kemampuan menganalisis kaidah kebahasaan teks anekdot sebesar 15,8%. Sementara itu, sisanya sebesar 84,2% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain. Jadi, minat membaca tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menganalisis kaidah kebahasaan teks anekdot kelas X SMK PGRI 3 Malang. Bagi siswa sebaiknya minat membaca tidak hanya didominasi pada bacaan yang disenangi saja, tetapi juga pada bacaan lainnya. Sementara itu, bagi guru sebaiknya meningkatkan minat membaca yang dimiliki sehingga wawasan atau pengetahuan semakin luas.
English Abstract
The tenth grade students of SMK PGRI 3 Malang are difficulty in the ability of analyzing linguistic rules, among others temporal conjungtion, verb, imperative sentence, and exclamation sentence of anecdote text because their reading interests is limited. The aim of this research is knowing the relation between reading interest with the ability of analyzing linguistic rules among others temporal conjungtion, verb, imperative sentence, and exclamation sentence of anecdote text for the tenth grade students of SMK PGRI 3 Malang. The type of this research is expost facto. In addition, the research subject used all of the tenth grade students in generator major of SMK PGRI 3 Malang. The technique of data collection among others interview, questionnaire, test, and validity test of questionnaire content, validity test of content and objective question descrete, the reability of Spearman Brown objective question. The data analysis was done by using questionnaire validity test, questionnaire reability test, descriptive analysis of reading interest questionnaire percentage, data prerequisite test, and statistic hypothesis test. The result of this research shows that there was no influence between reading interest with the ability of analyzing linguistic rules in anecdote text. It was caused because in the calculation which is accepted from the regression equation, dependent variable (Y) = 2.087 + 0.264X. From the equation showes that in addition of 1 value in reading interest, the value of the ability of analyzing linguistic rules in anecdote text will increase by 0,264. In the result of significance level test calculation was gotten by 0,103 > 0,05. The basic provision is regression which is called not significance or cannot meet the linearity criteria. While, in the result of value calculation was known t calculate by 1,731 with the significance value by 0,103. The basic provision is if significance value > 0,05, so Ho accepted and H1 rejected. In the result of determination test calculation was known that the result of R square value or determination coefficient by 0,158. According to determination test result, it can be defined if the factor of reading interest could describe the ability of analyzing linguistic rules in anecdote by 15,8%. Whereas, the residue by 84,2% is described by other factors. Thus, the reading interest was not influential towards the ability of analyzing linguistic rules in anecdote for the tenth grade students of SMK PGRI 3 Malang. For the students, it was better if reading interest is not only dominated in reading favored but also in the other readings. Whereas, for the teachers, it was better to improve reading interest owned in order to the knowledge was wider.
