Abstract
Deixis adalah bagian dari pragmatik yang mempelajari tentang referensi berdasarkan konteksnya. Deixis juga dapat didefinisikan sebagai menunjuk seseorang atau sesuatu. Deixis dapat ditemukan dalam bahasa lisan dan bahasa tertulis. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis bermaksud menganalisis Deixis yang terkandung dalam ucapan dalam film. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui, (1) Jenis-jenis Deixis yang terkandung dalam ucapan dalam Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif Qualitativeand karena data tersebut memiliki bentuk dan dibahas dalam bentuk deskriptif, maka hasil pencarian disajikan oleh bentuk angka dalam tabel. Data dari penelitian ini diambil dari ucapan di dalam di luar Dalam penelitian ini penulis menemukan 289 ekspresi deictic dari 134 ucapan yang berisi jenis-jenis Deixis. Berdasarkan Stephen C. Levinson, ekspresi deictic adalah orang Deixis, letakkan Deixis, Time Deixis, Deixis Sosial dan Deixis. Menurut analisis, penulis menemukan 201 orang deixis, 23 tempat Deixis, 8 kali deixis, 18 deixis sosial dan 39 wacana deixis. Jenis-jenis DEIXIS yang paling umum ditemukan adalah orang deixis. Referensi sebagian besar merujuk pada sukacita sebagai karakter terkemuka karena peristiwa dalam film sebagian besar dikelola oleh sukacita. Place Deixis mengacu pada lokasi acara dalam film yang dilaporkan oleh pembicara dan sebagian besar terjadi di rumah baru di San Francisco. Waktu Deixis mengacu pada saat ketika acara sedang berlangsung. Deixis sosial mengacu pada perbedaan sosial antara pembicara dan penerima. Wacana Deixis digunakan untuk menghubungkan wacana sebelumnya ke teks di sekitarnya untuk membuat makna teks yang jelas. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan referensi yang sesuai untuk reseracher berikutnya yang ingin melakukan penelitian dalam kasus DEIXIS. Penulis menyarankan peneliti berikutnya untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis Deixis di objek lain dan menggunakan teori yang sama dari Stephen C. Levinson.
English Abstract
Deixis is part of pragmatics that studies about reference based on the context. Deixis also can be defined as pointing someone or thing. Deixis can be found in spoken language and written language. In this study, the writer intends to analyze deixis that is contained in utterances in the movie. This study is conducted to find out, (1) the types of deixis that is contained in utterances in the This research is a qualitativeand quantitative study because the data areinsentences form and discussed in descriptive form, then the finding result is presented by the number form in the table. The data of this research were taken from the utterances in the Inside Out In this study the writer found 289 deictic expressions from 134 utterances which is contained the types of deixis. Based on Stephen C. Levinson, deictic expression are person deixis, place deixis, time deixis, social deixis and discourse deixis. According to the analysis, the writer found 201 person deixis, 23 place deixis, 8 time deixis, 18 social deixis and 39 discourse deixis. The types of deixis most commonly found is person deixis. The referentis mostly refer to Joy as the prominent character because the event in the movie is mostly managed by Joy. Place deixis refers to the location of the events in the movie which is reported by the speaker and it mostly happens in the new house in San Francisco. Time deixis refers to the moment when the event is ongoing. Social deixis refers to the social distinction between the speaker and the addressee. Discourse deixis is used to connect the previous discourse to the surrounding text to make the meaning of the text clear. This study may give the appropriate references for the next reseracher who wants to conduct the research in deixis case. The writer suggests the next researcher to find out the types of deixis in the other object and use the same theory from Stephen C. Levinson.
