Abstract
Secara umum, orang tidak menyadari bahwa bahasa adalah keterampilan yang sulit. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, bahasa merupakan media penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Ada beberapa orang yang masih belum bisa menggunakan bahasa dengan baik, salah satunya adalah anak-anak yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus seperti anak autis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik produksi bahasa dari Anak Autis di UM Autism Lab School Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk meninjau hubungan dalam penelitian ini. Subyek yang diteliti adalah tiga siswa autis di Autism Sekolah Laboratorium UM dan data yang diambil melalui observasi pada semua subjek, bagi penulis menggunakan teori Bogdashina (2005) untuk mengetahui karakteristik produksi bahasa pada anak-anak autis. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap anak memiliki karakteristik produksi bahasa yang berbeda. Karakteristik itu atara lain echolalia, kata ganti pembalikan, literal ekstrim, neologisme, penegasan oleh pengulangan, pertanyaan berulang-ulang, dan kontrol yang buruk dari prosodi. Hasil akhir dari produksi bahasa anak autis terdiri dari berbagai jenis. Pada peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan untuk melakukan penelitian dengan produksi bahasa tetapi dengan kondisi lain. Itu lebih spesifik tentang jenis penyakit yang diderita oleh subjek. Penulis menyarankan kepada Fakultas dan Universitas untuk menambah referensi terkait dengan pidato, bahasa dan komunikasi masalah yang dapat bermanfaat oleh peneliti berikutnya.
English Abstract
In general, people do not realize that language is a difficult skill. In daily life, language is an important media for human life. There are some people who still cannot use the language well one of whom are children who have special needs such as children with autism, and others. The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of language production of Autistic Children in UM Autism Lab School Malang. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to reviewing the relationship in this study. The subjects being investigated were three autism students at Autism UM Laboratory School and the data retrieved through observation on all of the subject, for the writer used Bogdashina‟s theory (2005) to know the characteristics of language production in autistic children. This study indicates that each child has a different speech production characteristics. Among other characteristics are echolalia, pronoun reversal, extreme literalness, neologisms, affirmation by repetition, repetitive questioning, and poor control of prosody. The result of language production by all the subjects from autistic children are composed of various kinds. The next researcher is expected to conduct research with language production but with another condition. That is more specific about the kinds of diseases suffered by subjectThe writer suggests that the Faculty and University to add more reference related with speech, language and communication problems which can be helpful by the next researcher.
