Abstract
Matapelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang diajarkan di tingkat SMP/MTs kelas VIII pada semester genap meliputi tiga teks yaitu, teks fabel, teks diskusi, dan teks ulasan. Di antara teks-teks yang lain, teks ulasan merupakan teks yang sukar untuk dipelajari. Terlebih pada KD menulis. Berdasarkan hasil prasiklus ditemukan permasalahan bahwa pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 13 Malang belum optimal. Hal tersebut didasari oleh dua aspek, yaitu proses dan hasil. Dari segi proses, masalah yang muncul pada siswa adalah; (1) siswa malas dalam kegiatan menulis ; (2) siswa kesulitan dalam menemukan ide, (3) siswa merasa cepat bosan dalam proses menulis. Sementara itu, dari segi hasil, masalah yang muncul dari hasil menulis teks cerpen siswa adalah (1) siswa belum mampu membuat cerita yang sesuai dengan struktur, (2) kurangnya bahan penunjang informasi selama pembelajaran menulis, dan (3) siswa merasa jenuh karena pembelajaran masih terpusat pada guru. Hal itu berdampak pada rendahnya nilai ketarampilan menulis dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa hanya mencapai 35,48% dengan rata-rata kelas 66,5. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks ulasan dengan teknik Quantum Writing pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 13 Malang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII H yang terdiri atas 31 siswa. Data proses diperoleh malalui lembar observasi, wawancara, angket, sedangkan data hasil diperoleh melalui hasil ulasan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik Quantum Writing dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks ulasan pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 13 Malang. Keberhasilan penerapan teknik Quantum Writing dapat dilihat dari segi proses dan segi hasil. Dari segi proses, penerapan teknik Quantum Writing membantu siswa dalam, (1) menumbuhkan keaktifan dan kekritisan siswa, (2) mengembangkan daya kreatifitas dan kemandirian siswa, serta (3) melatih tanggung jawab dan ketekunan siswa dalam proses kreatif menulis. Sementara itu, dilihat dari segi hasil, teknik quantum writing mempermudah siswa dalam (1) menulis teks ulasan sesuai dengan struktur, (2) mengembangkan ciri kebahasaan teks ulasan, dan (3) menuliskan isi teks ulasan dengan isi yang menarik. Peningkatan tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada siklus I yang meningkat menjadi 74% dengan rata-rata 74. Kemudian, pada siklus II, hasil belajar siswa kembali meningkat dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 90,32% dengan rata-rata 81.
English Abstract
Indonesian lesson taught in SMP / MTs class VIII in the second semester includes three texts, namely, text fable, text discussion, and text review. Among other texts, text reviews the text that is difficult to learn. Especially at KD writes. Based on the results prasiklus found the problem that learning to write the text reviews the students of class VII SMPN 13 Malang has not been optimal. It is based on two aspects, namely the process and results. In terms of process, the problems that arise in students is; (1) students are lazy in writing activities; (2) students difficulties in finding ideas, (3) students feel bored quickly in the process of writing. Meanwhile, in terms of results, the problems that arise from the text stories students are (1) the student has not been able to create a story that is in accordance with the structure, (2) lack of supporting material information during learning to write, and (3) the students feel bored because of the learning still centered on the teacher. It adversely affects the value of ketarampilan writing with the percentage of students learning completeness reached only 35.48% with an average grade of 66.5. This study aims to improve the skills of writing text Writing review with Quantum engineering students of class VIII SMPN 13 Malang. Subjects in this study were students of class VIII H consisting of 31 students. Data obtained from process observation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, while data on the results obtained through the student reviews. The results of this study indicate that the application of Quantum Writing techniques can improve the writing skills of text reviews the students of class VIII SMPN 13 Malang. The successful implementation of Quantum Writing techniques can be seen in terms of process and in terms of results. In terms of process, implementation of Quantum Writing techniques help students in (1) raising activity and critical attitude of students, (2) develop students creativity and self-reliance, and (3) train the responsibility and perseverance of students in the creative process of writing. Meanwhile, in terms of results, the technique of writing quantum facilitate students in, (1) write a review text according to the structure, (2) developing the linguistic characteristics of the text reviews, and (3) write the contents of the review text to draw. Is evidenced by the increase in the value of completeness of classical study in the first cycle, which increased to 74% with an average of 74. Then, in the second cycle, student learning outcomes increased with classical learning completeness reached 90,32% with an average of 81.
