Abstract
Dalam percakapan sehari-hari, pembicara benar-benar melakukan banyak kegiatan di mana mereka tidak hanya memproduksi ucapan tetapi juga melakukan tindakan berdasarkan niat mereka. Dalam kondisi tertentu, speaker dapat menggunakan tindakan tidak langsung untuk tujuan tertentu. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk menganalisis tindakan ucapan tidak langsung dari ucapan yang digunakan oleh karakter dalam program Sentilan Sentilun Talk Show di Metro TV: Dahlan Iskan Episode. Ada tiga masalah penelitian, tentang (1) jenis tindakan lumrusi. (2) jenis tindakan ilokusi. dan (3) makna implisit dari ucapan yang dipilih. Peneliti menggunakan beberapa teori yang relevan seperti korespondensi dasar jenis klausa dari Downing & amp. Locke (2006), klasifikasi jenis tindakan ilokusi dari Searle (1976), dan teori konteks dari pemotongan (2002). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis dokumen transkripsi dialog di Show Sentilan Sentilun Talk, Dahlan Iskan Episode. Data penelitian ini adalah ucapan yang digunakan oleh karakter yang berasal dari sekuel kedua Sentilan Sentilun: Dahlan Iskan Episode dengan tema `Harapan Baru` (Harapan Baru). Data dikumpulkan melalui langkah-langkah mengunduh video Sentilan Sentilun, menyalin ucapan karakter, dan memilih ucapan yang berisi tindakan ucapan tidak langsung. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis melalui langkah-langkah pengorganisasian, meringkas, dan menafsirkan kesimpulan analisis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, Undang-Undang Locutioner yang paling sering digunakan adalah Deklaratif dan jenis ini sebagian besar digunakan untuk membuat pernyataan kesimpulan, prediksi, dan juga informasi. Selain itu, tindakan ilokusi yang paling sering digunakan adalah Directive, yang sebagian besar digunakan untuk melakukan tindakan menyarankan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar tindakan ilokusi arahan dilakukan melalui deklaratif tindakan lokulasi digunakan sebagai dampak dari pertunjukan ini dalam membawa visi `harapan baru` untuk umum. Secara implisit, karakter menggunakan ucapan tidak langsung bertindak untuk menyarankan masyarakat untuk mendukung pemerintah dalam mempertahankan bangsa, karena masih ada harapan baru yang dicoba oleh Dahlan Iskan, yang baru ditunjuk sebagai Menteri Badan Usaha yang dimiliki Era pemerintahan SBY. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, para peneliti berikutnya disarankan untuk menggunakan objek yang berbeda dari pertunjukan live lainnya dan fokus pada topik yang lebih spesifik. Selain itu, para peneliti berikutnya dapat menggunakan teori yang berbeda untuk mengidentifikasi makna implisit ucapan.
English Abstract
In everyday conversation, speakers actually do multiple activities in which they are not only producing utterances but also performing actions based on their intention. In certain condition, the speakers may use indirect speech act for certain purpose. Therefore, the researcher is interested to analyze indirect speech acts of the utterances used by the characters in Sentilan Sentilun talk show program on Metro TV: Dahlan Iskan episode. There are three problems of the study, concerning (1) the types of locutionary acts; (2) the types of illocutionary acts; and (3) the implicit meaning of the chosen utterances. The researcher uses some relevant theories such as the basic correspondence of clause type from Downing & Locke (2006), the classification of the types of illocutionary acts from Searle (1976), and the theory of context from Cutting (2002). This research is a qualitative research by using document analysis of the transcription of the dialogue in the Sentilan Sentilun talk show, Dahlan Iskan episode. The data of this research are the utterances used by the characters derived from the second sequel of Sentilan Sentilun: Dahlan Iskan episode by the theme ‘Harapan Baru’ (the New Hope). The data were collected through the steps of downloading the video of Sentilan Sentilun, transcribing the characters’ utterances, and selecting the utterances containing indirect speech acts. Furthermore, the data were analysed through the steps of organizing, summarizing, and interpreting the conclusion of analysis. Based on the result of analysis, the most frequently used locutionary act was declarative and this type was mostly used for making statement of conclusion, prediction, and also information. Besides, the most frequently used illocutionary act was directive, which was mostly used to perform the act of suggesting. It can be concluded that most directive illocutionary acts performed via declarative locutionary acts were used as the impact of this show in carrying the ‘new hope’ vision for the public. Implicitly, the characters used indirect speech acts to suggest the public to support the government in maintaining the nation, because there was still a new hope attempted by Dahlan Iskan, who was newly appointed as the Minister of the Stated-owned Enterprises in the rest of SBY ruling era. Based on the result of the study, the next researchers are suggested to use different objects from other live shows and focus on more specific topic. Moreover, the next researchers may use different theories to identify the implicit meaning of utterance.
