Abstract

Daftar Schindler adalah film 1993 yang disutradarai oleh Steven Spielberg. Film ini didasarkan pada Buku Schindler`s Ark oleh penulis Australia Thomas Keneally yang berubah berdasarkan tindakan kemanusiaan oleh pria bernama Oscar Schindler yang digambarkan oleh Liam Neeson dalam film. Steven Spielberg menyajikan audiensi insiden dalam sejarah Nazi. Nazi menunjukkan kebrutalan mereka dan membunuh banyak orang Yahudi di Kraków ketika invasi Jerman ke Polandia pada bulan September hingga Oktober 1939. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis, karakter dan karakterisasi, dan yang terakhir adalah teori motivasi McClelland, ada tiga aspek (1) motivasi berprestasi, (2) motivasi afiliasi, (3) motivasi daya. Penelitian ini berbicara tentang Oscar Schindler yang merupakan anggota partai Nazi. Dia memiliki motivasi untuk menjadi pengusaha terkaya di Krakow. Kemudian, motivasinya berubah untuk menyelamatkan orang-orang Yahudi di Krakow selama Perang Dunia II. Hasil penelitian ini adalah motivasi Oscar Schindler cocok dengan tiga aspek teori motivasi McClelland. Motivasi Oscar Schindler adalah (1) menjadi pengusaha terkaya di Krakow, (2) menemukan mitra terbaik, (3) ia menyukai kemenangan dan otorisasi.

English Abstract

Schindler’s List is a 1993 film directed by Steven Spielberg. The movie is based on the book Schindler’s Ark by Australian author Thomas Keneally which is turn in based on the actions of humanity by the man named Oscar Schindler portrayed by Liam Neeson in the movie. Steven Spielberg presents the audiences the incident in the Nazi’s history. Nazi showed their brutality and killed many Jews in Kraków when German invasion of Poland on September until October 1939. This research used sociological approach, character and characterization, and the last one was McClelland’s motivation theory, there was three aspects (1) achievement motivation, (2) affiliation motivation, (3) power motivation. This research talked about Oscar Schindler who was the member of the Nazi party. He has a motivation to be the richest businessman at Krakow. Then, his motivation changed to save the Jews at Krakow during World War II. The result of this research was Oscar Schindler’s motivation was suitable with three aspects of McClelland’s motivation theory. Oscar Schindler’s motivations were (1) Being the richest businessman at Krakow, (2) Found the best partner, (3) He likes the victory and authorization.
