Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang hubungan perdagangan antara Uni Eropa dan Indonesia yang sedang terjadi hambatan. Hambatan tersebut muncul pasca dikeluarkannya aturan penggunaan energi terbarukan di Uni Eropa dalam kebijakan Renewable Energy Directive pada tahun 2009. Hambatan yang dilakukan oleh Uni Eropa berupa hambatan non-tarif seperti hambatan administratif, kuantitatif, dan hambatan fiskal. Penulis menggunakan konsep New Protectionism milik David Greenaway dengan variable hambatan administratif, kuantitatif, dan hambatan fiskal. Sehingga fokus dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis upaya proteksi impor kelapa sawit Uni Eropa terhadap Indonesia pasca dikeluarkannya kebijakan renewable energy directive (red) tahun 2009-2017.
English Abstract
This research discuss the trade relations between EU and Indonesia that have barriers. The barriers arose after the issuance of the regulation on using renewable energy in the EU in the Renewable Energy Directive policy in 2009. The barriers imposed by the EU include non-tariff barriers such as administrative, quantitative, and fiscal barriers. The author uses David Greenaway’s New Protectionism concept with variable administrative, quanitative, and fiscal barriers. So, the focus of this research is to analyze European Union palm oil import protection efforts toward Indonesia after the issuance of Renewable Energy Directive (RED) 2009-2017
