Abstract
Mahkamah Konstitusi adalah salah satu komunitas pidato di Indonesia, kadang-kadang mereka menggunakan varietas bahasa dalam persidangan seperti jargon. Penelitian ini tertarik untuk menganalisis Mahkamah Konstitusi dalam peristiwa terbesar pada tahun 2014, yang diperdebatkan pemilihan presiden 2014 bahwa pada saat itu menjadi masalah umum. Dalam penelitian ini, ada dua masalah studi: (1) Apa jargon yang digunakan oleh hakim Mahkamah Konstitusi dalam pemilihan presiden yang disengketakan 2014. dan (2) Bagaimana aspek konteks situasional yang terdiri dari bidang, mode, dan tenor diterapkan pada putusan hakim Mahkamah Konstitusi dalam pemilihan presiden 2014 diperdebatkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif karena objek penelitian ini berurusan dengan tekstual yang menulis dari 20 video vonis oleh sembilan hakim Mahkamah Konstitusi. Penelitian ini menggambarkan jargon dengan makna umum dan makna khusus berdasarkan Kamus, Kamus Hukum dan KPPS PILPRES BUKU. Untuk mendukung jargon, penelitian ini memberikan konteks situasional setiap jargon. Ada 29 jargon yang digunakan oleh hakim Mahkamah Konstitusi dalam perselisihan pemilihan presiden 2014. Beberapa jargon memiliki makna harfiah diperiksa dalam kamus Oxford dan KBBI. Sebagian besar jargon adalah tentang hukum lalu tentang pemilihan umum 2014. Berdasarkan analisis, konteks situasional yang terdiri dari bidang, mode dan tenor penting untuk melihat latar belakang ucapan. Konteks situasional membantu para pembaca yang memiliki latar belakang yang berbeda untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang jargon yang terjadi. Studi berikutnya disarankan bahwa peneliti berikutnya untuk menganalisis jargon dengan menggunakan teori yang berbeda. Kemudian, penulis berikutnya dapat menganalisis jargon di bidang spesifik lain seperti medis, teknik atau area lain.
English Abstract
Constitutional Court is one speech communities in Indonesia, sometimes they used language varieties in trial like jargon. This study interested to analyze Constitutional Court in biggest event in 2014, which is Disputed Presidential Election 2014 that at that time became common issue. In this study, there are two problems of study: (1) What are the jargon used by the Judges of Constitutional Court in Disputed Presidential Election 2014; and (2) How are situational context aspects which consist of field, mode, and tenor applied in verdict of the Constitutional Court’s Judges in Presidential Election 2014 disputed. This study used descriptive qualitative method because the object of this research deal with textual that wrote down from 20 videos of verdict by nine judges of Constitutional Court. This study describes the jargons with common meaning and particular meaning based on dictionary, law dictionary and KPPS Pilpres Book. To support the jargon, this study provided situational context of each jargon. There are 29 jargons used by Constitutional Court Judges in the dispute of Presidential Election 2014. Some jargons have literal meanings were checked in oxford dictionary and KBBI. Most of jargons are about law then about general election 2014. Based on the analysis, situational contexts which consist of field, mode and tenor are important to see the background of utterances. Situational contexts help the readers who have different background to get comprehensive understanding about jargons that occurred. The next study is suggested that next researchers to analyze jargon by using different theories. Then, next writer can analyze jargon in other specific areas such as medical, engineering or other areas.
