Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki implikate di video Sacha Stevenso di YouTube. Dalam cara dia memberikan video ke pemirsa, ada makna implisit di balik setiap ucapan. Fenomena ini telah mendorong penulis untuk menganalisis implikate yang digunakan di Sacha ada dua masalah yang harus diselesaikan: (1) Apa ucapan yang mengandung implikate dalam video di YouTube. (2) Apa arti ucapan yang mengandung implikator yang ditemukan di YouTube. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ucapan yang mengandung implikate dan mencari tahu makna implikate di balik ucapan. Telah diunggah di YouTube mulai Maret 2014 hingga April 2014. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis dokumen. Untuk menganalisis implicature, penulis menggunakan teori relevansi yang diusulkan oleh SPERBER dan WILSON (1995) yang berasal dari penjelasan, ekspliksatur tingkat tinggi dan implikate. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dalam mengungkap implikate yang digunakan dalam video, tiga proses tahap dilakukan. Explicature digunakan untuk memberikan penjelasan terperinci tentang ucapan yang diucapkan oleh speaker yang dibantu oleh konteksnya. Menurunkan eksplicature tingkat tinggi diperlukan untuk menemukan sikap proposisional terhadap aspek-linguistik di mana dalam nada suara ini digunakan oleh pembicara. Menurunkan implikate membutuhkan tempat ICIT yang dibangun berdasarkan konteks dan kesimpulan yang terlibat diperoleh dengan menarik kesimpulan dari seluruh proses. Disimpulkan bahwa eksplicature, eksplicature tingkat tinggi, dan implikate ditafsirkan dengan menggambar kesimpulan yang diambil dari konteks, pengetahuan latar belakang, dan asumsi. Penulis selanjutnya direkomendasikan agar mereka melakukan studi serupa tentang implikate menggunakan teori relevansi dengan berbagai subjek seperti video berita atau variety show program yang telah diunggah di YouTube. Penulis juga menyarankan pemirsa YouTube memahami secara mendalam pesan yang dikirimkan dalam video di YouTube.
English Abstract
This research aims to investigate the implicature in Sacha Stevenso videos on YouTube. In the way she delivers the videos to the viewer, there are implicit meanings behind each utterance. This phenomenon has encouraged the writer to analyze the implicature used in Sacha There are two problems to be solved: (1) What are the utterances which contain implicature in videos on YouTube; (2) What are the meanings of utterances containing implicatures found in on YouTube. The objectives of this research are to find out the utterances which are contained implicature and find out the meaning of the implicature behind the utterances. been uploaded on YouTube from March 2014 until April 2014. The writer uses qualitative approach with document analysis. To analyze the implicature the writer uses relevance theory proposed by Sperber and Wilson (1995) derived from explicature, higher level explicature and implicature. This research founds that in uncover the implicature used in the video, three stage processes were done. Explicature is used to give detailed explanation about the utterances uttered by the speakers helped by the context. Deriving higher-level explicature is needed to find the propositional attitude toward the -linguistic aspects where in this research tone of voice is used by the speakers. Deriving the implicature requires the icit premises that are constructed based on the context and implicated conclusion obtained by drawing conclusion from the whole process. It is concluded that explicature, higher-level explicature, and implicature are interpreted by drawing inferences retrieved from the context, background knowledge, and assumptions. The next writers are recommended that they conduct similar studies about implicature using relevance theory with different subjects such as news videos or variety show programs that have been uploaded on YouTube. The writer also suggests the YouTube viewer understand deeply the message delivered in a video on YouTube.
