Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan kajian penelitian pengembangan mengenai pengembangan media GARASI (Gambar Fotografi dan Kartun Ilustrasi) dalam pembelajaran menulis teks drama yang dikemas menyerupai kalender duduk. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA PGRI Batu. Alasan melakukan penelitian ini karena ingin mengembangkan dan memvalidasi produk untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa dan guru. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model Borg dan Gall yang terdiri atas sepuluh tahapan. Uji coba model tersebut terdiri atas tiga tahapan, yaitu perseorangan, skala sedang, dan skala luas. Data penelitian ini berupa data verbal dan nonverbal berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan angket dari guru, tim validator, dan siswa. Tim validator yang terlibat, yaitu ahli media, ahli materi, ahli praktisi, dan ahli desain grafis. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian dan pengembangan, yaitu menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran dalam bentuk visual. Selain itu, mendeskripsikan pengembangan media dan implementasi pengembangan media GARASI dalam pembelajaran menulis teks drama bagi siswa kelas XI SMA PGRI Batu. Hasil analisis angket dengan melibatkan tiga siswa pada uji coba perseorangan diperoleh persentase 82,5%. Sementara itu, hasil analisis data dari ahli media diperoleh persentase 77%, ahli materi 40%, ahli praktisi 48%, dan ahli desain grafis 85%. Hasil analisis angket dengan melibatkan 6 siswa pada uji coba skala sedang diperoleh persentase 72%. Sementara itu, hasil analisis data dari ahli media diperoleh persentase 85%, ahli materi 77%, ahli praktisi 83%, dan ahli desain grafis 93%. Sementara itu, hasil analisis angket dengan melibatkan satu kelas, yaitu kelas XI MIA (Matematikan dan IPA) pada uji coba skala luas diperoleh persentase 90%. Sementara itu, hasil analisis data dari ahli media diperoleh persentase 100%, ahli materi 97%, ahli praktisi 100%, dan ahli desain grafis 95%. Implementasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui implikasi media yang dikembangkan. Implementasi tersebut menunjukkan adanya perubahan nilai pada pembelajaran prapengembangan dan pascapengembangan. Prapengembangan diperoleh nilai rata-rata dari kedua kelas, yaitu 50,5, sedangkan pascapengembangan diperoleh data nilai siswa 83,3 dengan SKBM 70.
English Abstract
This research belongs to development research studies about the development of GARASI (Photography and Illustration Cartoon Pictures in Writing Drama Text Learning) media in writing drama text learning which is packed as sit calendar. The research is conducted in SMA PGRI Batu. The current research exists because the researcher wants to develop and validate the product to fulfill the need of students and teachers. This research adapts Borg and Gall model which consists of ten steps. The model trial test consists of three steps; they are individual, medium scale, and large scale. This data research in present research are in the form of verbal and nonverbal data based on the interview result and questionnaire from teachers, validator team, and students. The involved validator teams are media experts, material experts, practitioner experts, and graphic designer experts. The data was analyzed by using descriptive qualitative and quantitative method. The aim of the research and development is to produce a product of learning media in visual form. Moreover, it aims to describe the development of the media and to imply the development of GARASI media in writing drama text leaning for students grade XI SMA PGRI Batu. The result of the research involving three students in individual trial test shows 82,5%. Meanwhile, the data analyzed by media experts obtained 77%, material experts obtained 40%, practitioner experts obtained 48%, and graphic design experts obtained 85%. The result of questionnaire analysis involving six students in medium scale trial test shows 72% percentage. While the data analyzed by media experts obtained 85%, material experts obtained 77%, practitioner experts obtained 83%, and graphic design experts obtained 93%. In addition, the result of the research involving one class in the school, which is Mathematics and Science class students grade XI, in large scale trial test, shows 90% percentage. While the data analyzed by media experts obtained 100%, material experts obtained 97%, practitioner experts obtained 100%, and graphic design experts obtained 95%. Implementation which has been conducted to determine media implication developed by the implementation shows that there is a score fluctuation in predevelopment and post-development leaning. Predevelopment obtained 50,5 of average score in both class, while post-development obtained 83,3 score in teaching and learning competency standards (SKBM) 70.
