Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran self-regulated learning terhadap decisional procrastination dalam menyusun skripsi pada mahasiswa FISIP Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Penelitian ini melibatkan 120 mahasiswa FISIP dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu skala self-regulated learning yang dibuat sendiri oleh peneliti berdasarkan teori Zimmerman (1989) dan skala decisional procrastination yang mengadaptasi dari milik Mann, dkk (1997). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat nilai yang signifikan yaitu 0,000 (p < 0,05), artinya terdapat peran self-regulated learning terhadap decisional procrastination dalam menyusun skripsi pada mahasiswa FISIP Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Dimana sebesar 32,6% variabel self-regulated learning mempengaruhi variabel decisional procrastination, sisanya sebesar 67,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

English Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of self-regulated learning to decisional procrastination in preparing the thesis on the poor faculty of social science and political science of Brawijaya University students. This study involved 120 FISIP students with sampling technique used is purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. The measuring tool used in this study is the self-regulated learning scale that is made by the researchers themselves based on the theory of Zimmerman (1989) and decisional procrastination scale that adapts from the property Mann, et al (1997). Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. the result of the analysis shows that there is a significant value that is 0.000 (p <0,05), meaning that the role of self-regulated learning to decisional procrastination in preparing the thesis on the FISIP of Brawijaya University student Malang. Where 32.6% of self-regulated learning variables affect the variable decisional procrastination, the remaining 67.4% influenced by other factors.
