Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas produksi ruang privat narapidana dan pengunjung di dalam ruang kunjungan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas I Malang. Fokus dari penelitian adalah bagaimana cara narapidana dan pengunjung berhubungan seks dalam ruang kunjungan sehingga terproduksinya ruang privat. Untuk mengkaji produksi ruang privat ini, peneliti menggunakan dasar teoritis produksi ruang Henri Lefebvre dan heterotopia Michel Foucault. Kedua perspektif tersebut mampu menjelaskan produksi ruang privat di dalam ruang kunjungan. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Penggunaan etnografi dalam penelitian untuk menceritakan kondisi budaya ruang kunjungan yang dijadikan arena hubungan narapidana dan pengunjung. Hasil dari penelitian ini, peneliti menceritakan kondisi ruang kunjungan yang dibentuk secara ideal oleh pihak sipir melalui aturan dan larangan. Setelah itu, peneliti menceritakan para sipir mengawasi para narapidana dan pengunjung dalam ruang kunjungan. Meski ruang kunjungan dibentuk ideal dan diawasi, narapidana dan pengunjung tetap melakukan hubungan seks dengan cara-cara mereka. Simpulannya, ruang kunjungan adalah satu-satunya arena narapidana dan pengunjung melepas rindu dengan melakukan hubungan seks secara berulang. Serta ruang kunjungan bagi mereka adalah rumah kedua untuk saling bertemu dengan sanak keluarga.
English Abstract
This study discusses the production of private spaces inmates and visitors in the visiting room Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas I Malang. The focus of the research is how inmates and visitors have sex in the visiting room so that the production of private spaces. To examine the production of this private space, researchers used the theoretical basis of the production of spaces Henri Lefebvre and the heterotopia Michel Foucault. Both perspectives are able to explain the production of private space in the visiting room. The method used by the researcher is qualitative with ethnography approach. The use of ethnography in research to describe the cultural conditions of the visiting room that made the arena of the relationship of prisoners and visitors. The results of this study, the researchers told the condition of the visit room that was formed ideally by the warden through the rules and prohibitions. Afterwards, the researchers told the guards watching the inmates and visitors in the visiting room. Although the visit room is ideally and supervised, the inmates and visitors continue to have sex in their ways. In conclusion, the visiting room is the only arena of inmates and visitors to miss longs by having sex repeatedly. As well as the visit room for them is the second home to meet each family.
