Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan citra tubuh dengan harga diri pada wanita dewasa awal pengguna layanan skincare. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah wanita dewasa awal usia 18-40 tahun pengguna layanan skincare. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan subjek berjumlah 132 orang. Data diperoleh melalui dua alat ukur yaitu skala citra tubuh berdasarkan teori Cash (2000) dan skala harga diri berdasarkan teori Coopersmith (Murk, 2006) yang disusun oleh peneliti. Pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan citra tubuh dengan haraga diri pada wanita dewasa awal pengguna layanan skincare dengan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 32,1 %.
English Abstract
This research is aim to determine body image and self esteem in early adult woman. The method in this study is used correlational kuantitatif method. The responden in this study is early adult woman users of skincare services 18-40 years old. Purposive sampling was used in this study as sampling technique with 132 subject. Data was obtained from two measurement instrumen that is body image scale based on Cash (2000) theory and self esteem scale based on Coopersmith (Murk, 2006) theory and were organized by researcher. The data were analyze by correlation analysis. The result in this study showed body image have correlation with self esteem in early adult woman users of skincare services and give providing contribution 32,1%.
