Abstract

“Keluarga” merupakan seperangkat nilai-nilai yang mendukung penuh keberhasilan atau prestasi anak dalam pendidikannya. Namun yang terjadi saat ini peran keluarga disalahgunakan sebagai alat dalam kasus pencucian uang atau yang dikenal sebagai perilaku korupsi. Fenomena ini menunjukkan bahwa korupsi telah memasuki ranah keluarga, tidak hanya percakapan dalam berinteraksi pada pemenuhan kebutuhan saja, namun juga telah memasuki tindakan korupsi yang dilakukan bersama-sama. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana proses penanaman nilai-nilai antikorupsi berbasis keluarga sebagai upaya mencegah terjadinya perilaku korupsi. Penelitian ini merupakan bidang kajian komunikasi keluarga dan studi korupsi yang menggunakan teori Social Construction of Reality melihat sebuah proses komunikasi keluarga dalam mengkonstruksi nilai-nilai antikorupsi di dalam keluarga melalui tiga elemen yaitu proses internalisasi, eksternalisasi, dan objektifasi. Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan interpretatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan kajian jurnal ilmiah mengenai family communication and corruption. Hasil penelitian pada tiga keluarga di Kota Bekasi menunjukkan; bahwa pendidikan antikorupsi di dalam keluarga tidak berdiri sendiri, namun adanya proses internalisasi, eksternalisasi, dan objektifasi yang yang menghasilkan sosial konstruksi terhadap pendidikan antikorupsi berbasis keluarga.. Hal yang baru ditemukan, bahasa bernuansa islami digunakan dalam proses konstruksi sosial pendidikan antikorupsi, dan pendidikan antikorupsi berpengaruh pada nilai-nilai dari generasi sebelumnya.

English Abstract

Family is a set of value which support children's achievements in education. However, it is recently happening that the role of family is misused as a tool in a "money laundry" case or known as well as corruption study. This phenomenon shows that corruption has penetrate into family aspects, not just within conversations and interaction, but also practically doing corruption together. As such, this research is exploring the process of how families are putting values in preventing the behavior of corruption. The research is a family communication and corruption based, using Social Construction of Reality Theory in seeing the process of family communication in construction anti-corruption within the family through three elements which are internalisation, externalisation, and objectivity. This research is using qualitative and interpretative approach with observation, interviews and literature reviews of family communication and corruption as the resource of the datas. The result of the research shows that giving education of anti-corruption in a family cannot be done alone but should contain three processes of internalisation, externalisation and objectivity that stimulate social construction to the awarness that is given. It is also discovered in this research that religion is also giving an effect in the process of constructing the values of anti-corruption.
