Abstract
Citra tubuh adalah gambaran emosional yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan terhadap bentuk tubuh mereka salah satu cara untuk mendapatkan citra tubuh yang mereka inginkan adalah dengan perilaku diet penurunan berat badan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan alat ukur kuisioner dan menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 145 mahasiswa ilmu keperawatan Universitas Brawijaya Malang angkatan 2013. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan sejumlah 77.4% responden yang memiliki IMT yang normal. Pegelolaan data dengan menggunakan SPSS 16.0 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara perilaku diet dengan citra tubuh pada mahasiswa ilmu keperawatan Universitas Brawijaya Malang angkatan 2013 (p=0.02). Sebanyak 34% responden dengan citra tubuh yang negatif menjalankan perilaku diet yang tidak sesuai dan 32.1% responden dengan citra tubuh positif menjalankan perilaku diet yang sesuai. Kesimpilan dari hasil tersebut adalah semakin negatif citra tubuh seseorang maka perilaku diet yang dilakukan akan tidak sesuai. Berdasarkan hasil temuan disarankan agar mahasiswa diberikan informasi tentang pola makan dn diet yang tepat bagi kalangan mahasiswa untuk mengurangi kejadian perilaku makan yang menyimpang.
English Abstract
Body image is an emotional picture associated with the satisfaction of their body shape one way to get the body image they want is with the behavior of a weight loss diet. The method used is quantitative with questioners and using cross-sectional design. The sample in this research is 145 students of nursing Universitas Brawijaya Malang class of 2013. The result of calculation shows 77.4% of respondents who have normal BMI. Data management using SPSS 16.0 shows that there is a significant relationship between dietary behavior with body image in UB nursing student class of 2013 (p = 0.02). A total of 34% of respondents with negative body image performed inappropriate dietary behaviors and 32.1% of respondents with positive body image performed appropriate dietary behaviors. The conclusion of these results is the more negative the body image of a person then the diet behavior will be inappropriate. Based on the findings suggested that students are given information about the right diet and diet for the students to reduce the incidence of eating behavior that deviates.
