English Abstract

This research was conducted on 17 February to 21 March, 2018. The aim of the research was to study the effect of difierent feed colors for broiler. This research used 100 DOC unsexing with average body weight 44 ± 4,22 g, kept on litter for starter phase. This research was designed as Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and 5 replication PO was defined as control feed with natural color), P1 was feed with green color, P2 was purple feed color, P3 was orange feed color. The data collection are in the age 1 days until 35 days. Collected data were analized by ANOVA followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test. The result shows that interaction of different feed colors was not significantly influenced (P>0,05) the average of slaughter weight and mortality, but the result shows significantly effect (P<0,01) on the carcass percentage. Based on the research the best treatment in this research was on Pl(feed withgreen color) with percentage of carcass about 74,765±1 433.
