Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel independensi bank sentral (CBI) dan variabel makroekonomi (Pertumbuhan Ekonomi (GDPG), Inflasi (IHK), Exchange Rate Change (ER), Freedom of Business (FOB), Balance of Payment (BOP), dan Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)) terhadap stabilitas sistem keuangan di 5 negara Asean yaitu Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Phillipina, dan Singapura pada tahun 1998-2014. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah bank sentral dan variabel makroekonomi di 5 negara Asean. Adapun metode analisa yang digunakan adalah model regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variable independensi bank sentral (CBI) dan variabel makroekonomi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap stabilitas sistem keuangan di 5 negara Asean. Secara parsial pengaruhnya berbeda-beda, dimana CBI, GDPG, FDI berdampak positif signifikan, sedangkan IHK, ER, FOB, dan BOP berdampak negatif signifikan.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of central bank independency (CBI) and macroeconomic variables (Economic Growth (GDPG), Inflation (IHK), Exchange Rate Change (ER), Freedom of Business (FOB), Balance of Payments (BOP), and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to the Financial System Stability on 5 Asean counties (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Phillipina, dan Singapura) in 1998-2014. Objects in this study are central banks and macroeconomic variables in 5 Asean countries. The method of analysis used is a panel data regression model. The results of this study indicate that the variable independence of central banks (CBI) and macroeconomic variables significantly affect the of financial systems stability in 5 Asean countries. Partially the effect is different, where CBI, GDPG, FDI have a significant positive impact, while IHK, ER, FOB, and BOP have a significant negative impact.
