Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku prososial dengan peer acceptance bagi remaja. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 122 remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode peer assessment prosocial behavior dan peer assessment sosiometri dan dianalisa menggunakan uji Product Moment Pearson. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara perilaku prososial dengan peer acceptance bagi remaja dengan korelasi sebesar 0,619 (p < 0,001). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ketika perilaku prososial tinggi maka peer acceptance dari teman sebaya juga akan meningkat. Berlaku juga sebaliknya ketika perilaku prososial rendah maka peer acceptance dari teman sebaya juga akan rendah.
English Abstract
The purpose for this research is to find out whether there is a correlation between prosocial behavior and peer acceptance. The data for this research was collected using 122 adolescence. The methods used in the data collection processes were peer assessment prosocial behavior and peer assessment sosiometric, analysis with Product Moment Pearson. The result from this research is showing there is a correlation between prosocial behavior and peer acceptance. The score of correlation is 0,619 (p = 0,001). Based on the results of the study, when the behavior of prososial high then the peer acceptance from peers will also increase. Neither reverse when the behavior of prososial low then the peer acceptance from peers will also be low.
