Abstract

CV. LS merupakan salah satu perusahaan agroindustri yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan dan produksi kopi bubuk dengan bahan baku kopi robusta. Penerapan sistem pengendalian persediaan yang kurang tepat oleh CV. LS membuat proses produksi juga ikut terganggu sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis pengendalian tingkat persediaan bahan baku yang tepat, salah satunya menggunakan menggunakan metode EOQ. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan (1) Menganalisis manajemen pengendalian persediaan yang telah dilakukan oleh CV. LS (2) Menganalisis jumlah pembelian bahan baku menggunakan metode EOQ, persediaan pengaman (safety stock), pemesanan kembali (reorder point) titik maksimum dan minimum tingkat persediaan bahan baku pada CV. LS (3) Menganalisis perbedaan biaya total persediaan bahan baku biji kopi robusta kopi bubuk CR1 antara sistem pengendalian persediaan yang dilakukan oleh CV. LS dengan pengendalian persediaan menggunakan metode EOQ. Penentuan responden dilakukan dengan cara kesengajaan (purposive) dengan melakukan pertimbangan tertentu (key informent) dimana kriteria responden yaitu pihak yang berkaitan tentang proses dilakukannya pengendalian persediaan mulai dari pemesanan bahan baku, pembelian bahan baku hingga proses penyimpanan yang dilakukan di perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan (1) Penerapan manajemen pengendalian persediaan bahan baku yang dilakukan oleh CV. LS masih belum optimal. Penerapan sistem just in time yang belum sesuai membuat pembelian bahan baku tidak terjadwal dan membuat biaya pengendalian persediaan bahan baku menjadi sangat tinggi. Biaya yang dikeluarkan rata-rata perbulan sebesar Rp 1.977.000 dengan frekuensi pembelian rata-rata sebanyak 9 kali per bulan. Penyebanya adalah kuantitas pembelian yang rendah sehingga tidak tersedinya persediaan pengaman pada gudang bahan baku (2) dari hasil analisis pengendalian persediaan bahan baku biji kopi dengan menggunakan metode EOQ diketahui bahwa tingkat pemesanan bahan baku biji kopi yang paling ekonomis sebanyak 3.370 kg dengan frekuensi pembelian bahan baku dilakukan 2 kali dalam sebulan (3) pada pengendalian persediaan didapatkan hasil perhitungan untuk persediaan pengaman sebesar 351,29 kg, titik pemesanan kembali sebesar 389,100 kg, kapasitas maksimum sebesar 3721,27 kg dan kapasitas minimum sebesar 37,81 kg. (4) Efisiensi yang didapatkan dari penggunaan metode EOQ dibandingkan dengan CV. LS sebesar Rp 1.190.595 atau mencapai 60%, sehingga mampu untuk mengoptimalkan keuntungan perusahaan.

English Abstract

CV. LS is one of the companies agroindustry that field of processing and production of ground coffee with the robusta coffee raw material. Inventory control system has a bad by CV. LS make production process also involved disturbed so that needs to be done analysis control level supplies the raw materials that right, one of them use uses the method EOQ. Research conducted aims (1) analyze control inventory management that has been carried by CV. LS (2) analyze the quantity of buying raw materials uses the EOQ method, supplies safety (safety stock), reservations return (reorder point) the point of maximum and minimum level supplies raw materials in CV. LS (3) analyze difference in total cost of raw materials inventory coffee beans robusta ground coffee CR1 between inventory control system was done by CV. LS to bending supplies uses the EOQ method. The determination of respondents done by means of were (purposive) by certain consideration (key informent) respondents that is where the parties concerned about the process he did inventory control from reservations raw materials, buy raw materials to the process of saving has applied the company. Based on the research done by Efficiency Analysis of Raw Material Inventory Level CR1 Ground Coffee Through Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Method in CV. LS Gresik obtained (1) the application of inventory control management the raw materials that was done by CV. LS is not optimum. Applicating of the just in time system that does not appropriate make buy raw materials unscheduled and reduce the cost of inventory control raw materials becomes very high. Average cost monthly Rp 1.977.000 with the frequency of average buying 9 times per month. The cause was low quantity buying that the safety stock in raw materials warehouse not available (2) The results of analysis inventory control of raw materials coffee beans by using the EOQ method known that the ordering raw materials coffee beans the most economical as many as 3370 kg with frequency of the buy raw materials carried out twice in a month (3) On containing inventory the safety stock, the reservations back, capacity maximum and minimum had a very important role as able to face the prospect of delivery to delay or uncertainty the availability of raw materials coffee beans from the distributor, so as to maintain production process that undisturbed. The company should set safety stock is 351,29 kg, reorder point is 389,10 kg, maximum capacity is 3721,27 kg and minimum capacity isf 37,81 kg (4) Efficiency obtained from the use of EOQ method compared with CV. LS is Rp 1.190.595 or reach 60%, so that it can to optimize any advantage gained by the company.
