Analisis Perbandingan Penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) Pada Kontraktor di Maluku

Abstract

Total quality management (TQM) secara luas dianggap sebagai salah satu pendekatan paling penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas keluaran organisasi di industri konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan TQM di Maluku. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 40 perusahaan dengan total 103 responden dengan jabatan direktur, site manager, pelaksana lapangan dan quality control. Kemudian di analisis menggunakan uji one way annova, Relative Importance Index, Wawncara semi terstruktur dan Analytical Hierarchy Process. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan uji one way ANOVA, ditemukan adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam penerapan TQM di wilayah tersebut, dengan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05. Analisis dengan metode Relative Importance Index (RII) mengidentifikasi bahwa faktor dominan dalam penerapan TQM adalah kepemimpinan (RII = 0,700), diikuti oleh faktor komunikasi (RII = 0,674), kerja tim (RII = 0,672), dan manajemen proses (RII = 0,662). Hasil wawancara semi-terstruktur mengungkapkan hambatan utama yang dihadapi, yakni faktor kepemimpinan, komunikasi, kerja tim, dan kearifan lokal (sasi adat). Analisis menggunakan metode AHP kepemimpinan teridentifikasi sebagai solusi dengan prioritas kriteria tertinggi dengan nilai eigen vector 0,64 (64%), Kriteria komunikasi diidentifikasi sebagai prioritas alternatif kedua dalam upaya meningkatkan implementasi dengan nilai eigen vector 0,25.7 (25,7%), Kriteria kerja tim diidentifikasi sebagai prioritas ketiga dengan nilai eigen vector 0,10.3 (10,3%). Manajemen Konstruksi Berbasis Kolaborasi dan Kearifan Lokal adalah solusi utama yang mengintegrasikan kepemimpinan, komunikasi, kerja tim, dan kearifan lokal untuk penerapan TQM yang efektif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan di Maluku.

English Abstract

Total quality management (TQM) is widely regarded as one of the most important approaches to improving the quality of organizational output in the construction industry. This study aims to determine the implementation of TQM in Moluccas. Data collection using questionnaires was distributed to 40 companies with a total of 103 respondents with the positions of director, site manager, field implementer, and quality control. Then analyzed using the one-way ANOVA test, Relative Importance Index, semi-structured interviews, and Analytical Hierarchy Process. Based on the results of the analysis using the one-way ANOVA test, significant differences were found in the implementation of TQM in the region, with a significance value of less than 0.05. Analysis using the Relative Importance Index (RII) method identified that the dominant factor in the implementation of TQM was leadership (RII = 0.700), followed by communication factors (RII = 0.674), teamwork (RII = 0.672), and process management (RII = 0.662). The results of semi-structured interviews revealed the main obstacles faced, namely leadership, communication, teamwork, and local wisdom (sasi adat) factors. Analysis using the AHP method identified leadership as a solution with the highest priority criteria with an eigenvector value of 0.64 (64%). Communication criteria were identified as the second alternative priority in an effort to improve implementation with an eigenvector value of 0.25 (25.7%). Teamwork criteria were identified as the third priority with an eigenvector value of 0.10 (10.3%). Collaboration-Based Construction Management and Local Wisdom are the main solutions that integrate leadership, communication, teamwork, and local wisdom for the implementation of effective, adaptive, and sustainable TQM in Moluccas.
