Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan dari rencana akuisisi yang dilakukan oleh PT. Farindo Sri Mekar terhadap Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (PKS) yang dimiliki oleh PT. Tunas Fajar Perkasa sebagai langkah yang akan dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan mengenai tidak mencukupinya jumlah dan kapasitas fasilitas pengolahan kelapa sawit dengan hasil panen berlimpah komoditas tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksploratif, dikarenakan penggunaan sejumlah variabel dari data yang tersedia, yang kemudian dianalisis lebih lanjut menggunakan metode Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period (PP), dan Return on Investment (ROI), untuk menyusun sebuah hipotesis mengenai kelayakan dari rencana akuisisi tersebut. Hasil yang didapat dari analisis menggunakan metode NPV, PP, dan ROI tersebut memperlihatkan dan menyatakan bahwa rencana akuisisi yang dilakukan oleh PT. Farindo Sri Mekar tersebut layak untuk dilanjutkan.
English Abstract
This research aims to test the feasibility of the planned acquisition by PT. Farindo Sri Mekar on the Palm Oil Processing Facility owned by PT. Tunas Fajar Perkasa, as a step that will be taken to overcome the problem of the insufficient number and capacity of elaeis processing facilities with abundant yields of the aforementioned commodity. This research is a quantitative study with an exploratory approach, because the author utilizes variables from the available data, which are then analyzed further using the Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period (PP), and Return on Investment (ROI) methods, to form a hypothesis regarding the feasibility of the proposed acquisition. The analyzed results obtained from NPV, PP, and ROI method show and state that the acquisition plan carried out by PT. Farindo Sri Mekar deserves to go through.
