Abstract
"Musibah yang terjadi tidak akan pernah manusia ketahui. Oleh karena itu untuk memperkecil risiko dari musibah tersebut diperlukannya asuransi. Asuransi adalah suatu perjanjian, dengan mana seorang penanggung mengikatkan diri kepada seorang tertanggung dengan menerima suatu premi, untuk memberikan penggantian kepadanya karena suatu kerugian, kerusakan, atau kehilangan keuntungan yang tidak diharapkan yang mungkin akan terjadi karena suatu musibah yang tidak diketahui manusia. Asuransi sebagai sebuah perusahaan pasti mempunyai laporan keuangan. Aset yang ada pada perusahaan merupakan kekayaan yang dimiliki dan dikendalikan perusahaan. Peningkatan jumlah aset yang dimiliki perusahaan dapat memberikan hal positif terhadap perusahaan. Jika jumlah aset meningkat, pertumbuhan aset perusahaan juga meningkat dan akan menambah kepercayaan pihak luar terutama para investor. Oleh karena itu peningkatan pertumbuhan aset menjadi salah satu tolak ukur keberhasilan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah premi, klaim, investasi dan profitabilitas merupakan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruh pertumbuhan aset perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis adalah explanatory research dan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh variabel premi, klaim, investasi dan profitabilitas terhadap pertumbuhan aset. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan Asuransi Astra dan data yang ada dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari data sekunder yaitu website resmi dari perusahaan Asuransi Astra www.asuransiastra.com. Data yang digunakan merupakan laporan keuangan perusahaan dari tahun 2011 hingga tahun 2019. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat adanya pengaruh signifikan secara parsial premi terhadap pertumbuhan aset, tidak adanya pengaruh signifikan secara parsial klaim terhadap pertumbuhan aset, tidak adanya signifikan secara parsial investasi terhadap pertumbuhan aset, dan tidak adanya pengaruh signifikan secara parsial profitabilitas terhadap pertumbuhan aset."
English Abstract
Humans will never know what happened. Therefore, to minimize the risk of the disaster, insurance is needed. Insurance is an agreement, whereby an insurer binds himself to an insured by receiving a premium, to provide compensation to him for a loss, damage, or loss of unexpected profits that may occur due to an accident unknown to humans. Insurance as a company must have financial statements. Assets in the company are assets owned and controlled by the company. Increasing the number of assets owned by the company can give positive things to the company. If the number of assets increases, the company's asset growth will also increase and will increase the confidence of outsiders, especially investors. Therefore, the increase in asset growth is one of the benchmarks for the success of the company. It has a significant effect on the profitability of growth assets Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether the premise, claims, investment, and profitability are factors that can affect the growth of company assets. This research is a type of explanatory research and uses quantitative research methods. This study explains the effect of variables on claims, investment and profitability of asset growth. The sample in this study is the Astra Insurance company and the data in this study comes from secondary data, namely the official website of the Astra Insurance company, www.asuransiastra.com. The data used is the company's financial statements from 2011 to 2019. The results obtained in this study indicate that there is no partially significant effect on asset growth, no partially significant effect on asset growth, no partially significant effect on investment on asset growth, and no significant effect on asset growth profitability.
